Buscopan and antihistamines

I have to take F

exofenadine daily for hayfever - I think it's Allegra in the USA.

Has anyone any experience of taking Buscopan the same day as antihistamines? I'm struggling to find sensible advice for interactions and I really need both!

Hi, I have IBS and hayfever as well. I am on fexofenadine for my hayfever as well and I still take buscopan for my IBS, as I was told by my doctor and pharmacist that there is no known interactions and it's fine to take both on the same day. As I use fexofenadine to control my hayfever because I have asthma.

I have cetirizine on prescription for multiple allergies. I always keep OTC Buscopan for occasional bloating. Yesterday, I took my usual anti-histamines, and a had a Buscopan. No noticeable side effects.

I have both IBS and IBD; I am on Fexafendine daily because the meds to control my IBD gave me hives a couple of times, so I take the antihistamine each day as a precaution now. Whenever I get a lot of wind, bloating and pain (mini flares) I take Buscopan and currently I am having to take both these meds. You are ok to take both meds. Hope this helps.

Hi binks. I too am on Fexafenadine daily and IBS tablets, I was told by my doctor to leave at least 2 hours between the two and definatly the 2 hours between the Fexafenadine and my Omeprozole. I hope this helps put your mind at rest.

Thank you! I also take Omeprazole - as soon as I wake up and then the Fexofenadine a couple of hours later too. That's really helpful - I need Buscopan and I've only been taking it at bedtime because I'm unsure about the mix. x

I am also on omeprazole, and I have no problems with taking this, fexofenadine and buscopan. Hope it helps you to find some relief.
