Can I just ask if you out there and suffer with trapped wind do you get it in ur back, chest and shoulder ?
I woke up this morning when to toilet had a good bowel movement then felt normal had some buscopan and wham I started with trapped wind. I ve not had anything to eat so I know it’s not food, the pain it all across my stomach, lower back, chest and left shoulder.
Just wanted to ask if anyone else has the same when they have trapped wind.

Oh yes, the gripy pains from trapped wind seem to travel all over the place. This is not fun at all. I do know. Have you tried a colon massage? That can help me, and deep breathing, making yourself really relax. I lie on the floor, my head on a cushion, massage my gut gently but deeply in the direction my colon works (lower right, up, across, down on the left) Nice and slowly . Warmth on your tummy, maybe a warmish hot water bottle or maybe a warm bath (not shower)
A little walkabout can help too. Those things often do work for me.
Yes, I have exactly that at present. Not the norm for me but I didn't go back to the loo today, thought I could get through without going back but was obviously wrong (again). Mine is on my right hand side, tummy, hip, groin, shoulder, down my arm, down my leg, and in my right ear. It's driving me crazy!
Could well be, I like to try to figure out what it's doing too, I may be totally wrong but it makes me feel better if I can say it's down to this or that.
Yes, I often get trapped wind that spreads into my back which you can't reach to massage. I found twisting and stretching movements will often shift it.
Trapped wind I find wakes me up early morning, it's really tiresome as breaks your sleep. I don't always have a large meal at night so it doesn't give me wind but that makes no difference with me small or large, come 5or6am I'm awake and the loo🙄🙄
