IBS confirmation.

How did you all get IBS diagnosed?

My symptoms led to a Sigmoidoscopy which was normal but the pain I had afterwards was excruciating.

I never had wind like that. Felt like I was going to pop. 👀

Pre procedure the nurse said it wasn’t worse than going to the dentist.

I would take child birth again before that again and I have a very high pain threshold.

For me colonoscopy and blood tests if all normal then you are left with IBS

In my case, had all IBS D symptoms on and off for a good few years... did eventually get colonoscopy done way back in 2011 that at the time did not show inflammation as such so was told it has to be IBS.
