What should your poop look like after taking laxido for fecal impaction . I have been taking large doses of laxido 6 sachets in 6 hours going up to 12 in 6 hours on doctor’s advice, not sure if it’s working as I seem to have diarrhoea and not passing any solids.

What should my poo look like after taking laxido
Hi Mummy1959
I find that laxido makes my poop very loose as its a stool softener making easier to pass through you. First time I used it I was impacted and it helped,I only tend to use it occasionally now,but I find that it does make me "windy"
Good luck
Many thanks.
Hi. I’ve been told I’m faecal impacted by an x-ray. I took laxido for a couple days and got runny poo then doc said to reduce to one. Since taking laxido I’ve not had a solid stool for a week. And I’m at a loss what to do?? I had an enema and realised some but feels like back to square one with the abdominal pains again 😩😩. Please help!
Hey,poor you...it was years ago when I started with laxido and I was diagnosed with diverticular disease.....when you say you've not had a solid stool, does that mean you've not had a loose stool either? I really don't know what to suggest because everyone responds to medication differently and I am finding that something that suited me before upsets me now. If things don't improve I would speak to your GP. I hope you feel better soon x
I had loose stool but that’s all I’m getting atm. I took laxido for a few days and got to the brown liquid poo (sorry) and then I reduced it. Then I eat yesterday and had a cramp. Went to docs and said that the bowel is still quite a lot of hard stool. When u took the laxido did u get solid stool with it too? Thanks for the reply x
My stools get harder once I stop taking the laxido but it sounds like you need to get your compacted poo sorted out. Do you get cramps when you eat whilst you are taking the laxido regular? I remember I just ate plain bland food until my tummy settled down. It's not going to be an easy ride, once you start getting problems it's a roller coaster ride 😱 x
I know but they keep saying it’ll take time but my patience n anxiety is killing me 😭. Any ideas how to remove it pleaseee. Did all your poo come out though, when you were on laxido? I’m hungry all time too. It’s confusing 😖
