Ended up in A&E last night in for over 6hours given morphine for the pain , they did xrays and no impacted bowel . Sent home with buscopan to take and self manage ment . I’m on constella 290 and laxido twice a day . They said to cut down on laxido. And eat more as I’ve lost so much weight . But scared to take buscopan in case it constipated me . Does anyone else take buscopan with slow track bowel and constipation .need advice and reassurance

I find the buscopan actually helps me to be less constipated. I get terrible cramps that stop anything moving so when my gut relaxes the stool passes through and the pain is really reduced.

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks I did take buscopan bloated and sore . And will see if it eases soon . And try not to worry that everything will constipate me .
