IBS and the contraceptive pill

I wondered if anyone had any experience or information on the link between IBS and the pill as I don't know wether I should stop taking it to see if my IBS improves.

I found that my IBS started around the time I started taking the pill and wondered if anyone else experienced this?

Any knowledge or information would be great!

Hi, I thought I would reply as nobody else has. I started taking the pill when I was about 17 and didn't get IBS till about ten years later, so I guess there wasn't any connection for me. Sorry. Maureen.
