Hi, just a quick question had sigmoidoscopy yesterday. Very painful throughout. They took 6 biopsies. So I expected some bleeding. But this evenings bowel movement it looks like bits of flesh when I wiped. Is this normal? I have taken a photo but didnt want to put people off by posting it

Call the office of the doctor who did the procedure and ask him or his nurse if this is normal after the procedure. I'm not a doctor, but I'm guessing it's OK.
Did you not get out out.I know you never get fully put out but just enough to advise them but you soon forget i would say quite normal if thats any help.well done
Is it worth asking for pain relief/sedation for sigmoidoscopy?
