Saturday Night

My wife and self enjoy a nice meal at home with a bottle of wine every Saturday.

I am seventy three years old now and have the dreaded I.B.F.

Question:

Should I continue drinking this amount of wine.

Thanks for your reply.Does that mean I can continue with a bottle of wine over the evening ?

Hi,

Some people find that alcohol affects them adversely and others do not. Fortunately for me, I fall into the latter category.

If you don't feel that it makes your IBS worse, just carry on as you are!

I agree with the above posts,if you don't feel it gives you any grief, you enjoy it.

I'm 73yrs old this year, and I wish I could have a glass of wine,or better still Brandy, but I can't due to other meds.       You enjoy, and have a glass for me.

Red wine and beer, lager etc can trigger IBS, white wine is usually fine with me, I look at the foods more, what's yr meal with the alcohol?
