colonoscopy test

I been to have my colonoscopy test today at hospital and they find colonic spasm throughout test, colon and bowel look normal or healthy and also bowels symptoms consist with chronic constipation

That's very good - at least you know it's nothing more serious

Don't get me wrong I know you are suffering but at least you know that hopefully something can be done for you

You do take Actimel or something similar - I believe that can help

Just to tell you my colonoscopy came back normal, but today was told I have divoticulitus, which does not show up as your bowel has been emptied for colonoscopy, but yesterday I had a CT scan without first having melds to empty bowel and was found to have pockets of fermentation and infection so I start a six week course of strong antibiotics.

I had a colonoscopy a couple of years ago prior to which I had the usual meds to empty the bowel and the diverticulae pockets still showed up. I saw them on the screen.

That's interesting! It's 3 years since I had my colonoscopy so perhaps it was not bad enough to show up. I don't know but hope they are on the right track.

I got unexplained weight loss and passing lose stool. I feel tense inside when I start opening my bowel and I don't know whether this cause irritable bowel syndrome. My GP organise some blood test today for unexplained weight loss and then they going to refer to see dietitian
