Zoladex

I’ve been taking Ibrance for only 5 months, together with Femara (letrozole), Zoladex (Goserelin), and Zometa (Reclast). I’m getting a lot of pins and needles, tingling, in my arms. It’s worse at night and often I wake up with numb hands and arms.

I’m 34 now and I’ve had another 4 ablations, every type of contraction known to man, zoladex injections and HRT, prostap injections and HRT.

Hi Ladies, I am currently on month 4/6 of Zoladex injections to treat my severe endometriosis. Had a telephone update (with the gynae secretary may I add) and they are refusing to allow the injections to continue past 6 months but cannot offer me anything else in its place.

Hi ladies, I am halfway through a 6 month course of Zoladex and I am really keen to stay on the medication whilst I am on the waiting list for surgery for my severe endometriosis. Has anyone managed to stay on the medication for longer than 6 months?

My first PSA reading is 0.2 after Zoladex 3 month after 1st PSA 102 in December 2021 1 bone met in Sacrum Is this a reasonable first outcome of what’s going to be an ever changing rollercoaster ? Thanks

After being on Zoladex for over a year during the pandemic while i waited for surgery (to stop cyst getting bigger), I eventually had my surgery which involved having a temporary stoma. I ended up staying in hospital for 3 weeks last Dec as I had complications with an infection etc.

We were hoping to get more time on the Zoladex+chemo but the cancer is growing again. Thanks,

At what point, if ever, would it be advisable to stop injections of Zoladex or Lupron when they cease to be effective in suppressing PC? I am still on Zoladex shots every 12 weeks, despite its failure to work anywhere near as well as it did initially.

Last 5 years I have bounced between Zoladex and Combine Pill while being in f’ing agony! I was signed of work straight after the last surgery, but have worked part time since! As I don’t want a life on the dole! I struggle with my weight, mobility, managing my pain, appetite!..

Faslodex is my second line treatment- after Ibrance, Femara & zoladex. I’ve been feeling well on Faslodex - still going about my daily routine and working. After second MRI, my onc called with good news that there has been good shrinkage in liver and clavicle, and my femur had healed… yay!

Hi everyone So I’ve just finished with the zoladex injections. They were useless for me and gave me heavy periods. I’m up for trying anything. Pills patches creams drops. Anything I’ll give a go. Menopause did not stop the pain. ☹️.

Restarted zoladex 2 weeks ago.Seen oncologist yesterday and wants to wait a couple weeks and retest psa level then perhaps start zytiga and prednisone. Thoughts on this?

Hi could someone help me I was on zoladex from November to January the 26th I was told to come of it as it was making my worse but I've just gone for a wee and as I wiped there was quite a bit of brown blood,now I'm sure brown blood is old blood so I'm so unsure how its there I've not had a period for

Knowing my luck it will be double the bloody size 🤯🤣 Any experiences on decapeptyl or similar or zoladex Lupron etc is welcomed 🙏💕

Can someone please help before I scream 😂 my specialist took me of zoladex last week 2 days before my next Injection was due and every night I'm waking up sweating so badly I'm hot constantly and then it goes then comes back again but through the night is the worst does anyone no when the side effects

Just had my 4th injection and my headaches are horrible. Really struggling with them and insomnia.

No endometriosis has been found, however before the second surgery I was given Zoladex injections and told if they work its likely endo. Zoladex is the only thing that has given me any pain relief, however since they haven't found any endometriosis I've been completely dismissed.

Hi, I started Synarel nasal spray (Like Lupron or zoladex but in nasal spray) and I feel so rough?!?

The only treatment I am on currently on is 3 monthly implants of Zoladex. As always, I am very grateful to those who respond to my questions. I know we are not alone and all that, but sometimes, it feels that way. Many thanks

They want me to down reg with zoladex for 2 months before having my FET. Has anyone else had tondo this? With it being my first time I would rather not down reg and just have a medicated FET. Anyone been in the same situation?
