Just had a freeze all now moving onto my first FET. They want me to down reg with zoladex for 2 months before having my FET. Has anyone else had tondo this? With it being my first time I would rather not down reg and just have a medicated FET. Anyone been in the same situation?

ENDO & IVF FET CYCLE
I have stage 4 Endo and I did some freeze all cycles and then did one fresh transfer which didn’t work.Moved clinics and tried a frozen transfer which also didn’t work. Had surgery to try and remove some of the Endo.
A few months after the surgery had a scan with the view to start a frozen cycle… there is still some Endo there and I have fluid in my uterus which he’s worried may interfere with implantation.
So he’s given me a dose of Zoladex to try and help with some of that then will check again. For me after trying things a few different ways and it not working I was willing to give it a go.
It was mentioned earlier to me but was really reluctant… Will never know if I should or shouldn’t have done it then.
The worst part for me so far is the migraines I’m getting.. the hot flush is minimal.
Good luck with trying to reach a decision, I know it’s not easy.
thanks so much for replying and really sorry your previous cycles didn't work ;(. We seem to be very similar as I also had fluid in my uterus. How long have you bee on Zoladex for? Its great to hear the side effects haven't been too bad for you x
This is my first one had it a couple of weeks ago. He is hoping I only need one month but will see when I see him in a couple of weeks. The fluid in my uterus has been a pain… the consultant is convinced it’s part of the reason the embryos aren’t implanting because it’s creating a “hostile” environment. I’m forever spotting where I get old blood / random fluid and that happened after both my transfer so at this point I’m willing to do anything to try and get rid of that before I do another transfer.
Ahh I'm sorry you're going through this too and I really hope you get a positive outcome! 1 months worth seems like a good compromise so I may suggest that. How long did you have your laparoscopy? I had mine in July 2021 so was hoping it wouldn't have grown back yet! X
Hi xrachx. Try drinking some extra water. Sometimes helps to settle the migraine headaches. Diane
