At what point, if ever, would it be advisable to stop injections of Zoladex or Lupron when they cease to be effective in suppressing PC? I am still on Zoladex shots every 12 weeks, despite its failure to work anywhere near as well as it did initially. Given the known downsides to the shots, I wonder about the reasoning behind the decision to keep going.

Stopping Zoladex or Lupron
You NEVER stop. One of the reasons for "castration resistance" is that the androgen receptor (AR) becomes overexpressed on the cancer cell. Because of this it becomes more sensitive than ever to even the slightest bit of testosterone. Stopping Zoladex or Lupron at such a stage would cause the cancer cells to replicate like crazy.
You might add zytiga to the zoladex.

He should win a Nobel Prize for this. By lowering glucose and glycogen levels we strengthen the Mitochondria. His speeches and interviews are on YouTube.
