Missing period and pain
Nevertheless, I went on to have 3 rounds of
zoladex
injections. I stopped having them last May as I was feeling terrible side effects including joint pain, lethargy, mood swings etc.

Long term Zoladex use
They then tried one last time to take me off the
Zoladex
and unfortunately my body reacted badly, I was in agony within 6 weeks and my bowel just shut down. I was put back on the
Zoladex
and inject every 28 days, I have add back hormone and a dexa scan every 2 years.

Lupron vs Zoladex or another adt?
My father was taking Lupron (intermittent) prior to his cancer taking off rapidly. He is now two rounds of docetaxal in, +prednisone,+Xgeva. They say to continue with Lupron every four months. I am wondering why they wouldn't change the hormone drug. Lupron was not working so why not try another? Any

Struggling
I am really struggling with the effects of the
Zoladex
injection I am having each month. I am worried that if I tell him how bad it is he will stop them and then I will be more at risk for getting it all again. It may sound a stupid question but do I tell him or just keep going.

Has anyone

Zoladex question
Hi all I am on
Zoladex
which I am a fan of but am experiencing different symptoms to when I had it 6 years ago. I have vaginal dryness when having sex which makes sex really painful and not enjoyable. My sex drive has also massively decreased.

Hysterectomy or not?!
I'm waiting on a further specialist appointment after five rounds of
zoladex
as it's been a nightmare, pain, no pain, more pain, no pain and bleeding. I have a feeling the specialist might recommend a hysterectomy. A total one. What's people's opinions please? I've read very varied reports.

Zoladex and HRT advice/experience please
I'm unsure of what's next as
zoladex
is only a short intervention so concerned what's next I don't think I could take any more surgery yet so will have to see what my gynaecologist has planned next in Feb. Just apprehensive of it all.

Zoladex pre surgery
My bsge centre told me I needed 12 weeks of
zoladex
before my next surgery. After much faffing around and refusing to start me on it, they rang me yesterday and told me to get my GP to start me on it on the 6th of January (which would give me 10 weeks on it before my surgery date).

Have my date for hyst at bsge centre
Unfortunately after fannying around for the past 5 weeks refusing to change me to
Zoladex
(because they told me I had to have it for exactly 12 weeks prior to surgery) they've now given me dates which only allow for 10 weeks of
zoladex
. Go figure. But I'm looking forward to feeling better.

Chronic endo pain + acute pain = meltdown!
quietly and carry on without drawing attention to pain as I'm sick of myself being in pain so I don't want to keep complaining around my son and husband as they live with me and know how I suffer so I don't want to be defined by it but it's hard not to be when it's do debilitating and hot flushes from
