All systems go! First IVF round next cycle.. eeeek! :-s Any healthy living prep suggestions or tips would be fab xxx
We're currently on the text book supplements (selenium, folic, co-Enz10,,
Zinc
, Omegas, Vit C&E etc) and on a health eating plan (high protein/ good fats/ low carb etc), but if anyone has any tips on preparation - both health wise and emotionally for the next month, it would be greatly appreciated.

Test Result Help, please
I've been taking liquid supplements of selenium,
zinc
, vit c, vit d, folic acid, a powder myo-insitol and a magnesium spray. I feel these have made a big difference to my health. I've been tested for gluten and inflammatory bowel and all came back as clear. I eat very little processed / junk food.

feeling better but increased anxiety, help with test results
I supplement with b12 and calcium and vit D and vit k and a good multivitamin and mineral and also started taking
zinc
as a taste test said I was low. I have had a lot of tummy problems which may be due to accidental gluten (I am dairy and gluten free).

getting myself in a tizz
Since then I have been supplementing with magnesium, selenium and
zinc
. I also tried pre-loading my painkillers a few days before for this cycle. My last two cycles have been better as a result of these interventions (shorter and less painful).

āInterestingā blood test results
Except
zinc
is seen as much too high. I have been told by GP as a result of the above to stop supplements immediately and recheck
zinc
again as a follow up. I have only taken RDA levels of
zinc
- so this has come as a big surprise.

magnesium for pain or cognition
Seek advice from a healthcare professional before considering taking magnesium at the same time as any of these medications. https://healthanchor.com/best-magnesium Taking
zinc
at the same time, or in the same pill, will limit magnesium absorption in the intestine.

Zinc and weight loss
Having dosed up well on
zinc
and then stopped for 3 months and now use 20mg chelated
zinc
within a multi vit, I would say
zinc
is just as critical as magnesium and B vits as part of keeping healthy and at the same time weight loss efforts.
