Update - Blood work after taking Cytomel (T3)
I am also taking B complex, magnesium, selenium, and
zinc
. After my PCP found free T3 "a little low" in October and even lower in December, she agreed to give me a trial of Cytomel (T3). I titrated dosage slowly, as she had prescribed 25 mcg.

Test Results - help please
I have also been taking vit d suppliments and selenium and
zinc
for about a fortnight. My digestion is poor and I suffer with gastroparesis. My diet is healthy and I rarely eat bread or things containing gluten but I have not strictly cut gluten out. Thanks for taking the time to read.

When do you take medicine, vitamins, suppl. ? am, pm?
No ms related medicine but Effexor, Vit.D, Biotin,
Zinc
. And I started to read about how you're supposed to take these. It's incredibly complex, some should be taken 30 min before meal, some after food because of stomach acid,... for some, you need to avoid other food for optimal effect.

Vitamin D and testosterone co-ordinately modulate intracellular zinc levels and energy metabolism in prostate cancer cells.
"supplementation of vitamin D3 and testosterone can restrict the energy production that is required to drive PCa progression by maintaining proper
zinc
homeostasis and inhibiting TCA cycle activity in PCa cells." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30664926

For the past 5 months I have been supplementing with selenium, Vit D + K2, Vit c &

Which Digestive Enzymes?
I eat v healthily but I have to supplement iron
zinc
folate vit b’s magnesium. I was wondering whether anyone has tried enzymes and got their levels up. There seems to be different ones for different purposes eg digesting protein or vegetables.

I am supplementing with B12, vitamin C and
zinc
. However I still don’t feel like myself as I have really bad chest pains and fast heart beats and wake up through the night. I have less brain fog on 125 but should I go back to 100mg. Any thoughts?

Feeling excited about finding a cure for my RLS without meds!!
I also grabbed a bottle of Stresstabs, a b complex with copper,
zinc
, selenium, lyposene as well. No help. But I figured I would continue. Then, 12 days ago, I went to Superstore, (I never go to Superstore), and ended up in the organic section, which has homeopathic supplements.

Change of clinic, change of attitude
He’s been told to take
zinc
and selenium, and I’ve been told to take COQ10 and omega 3, as well as our usual preconception vitamins. 2) according to the ultrasound doctor and my gynae doctor my tubes aren’t blocked!

New member seeking advice for underactive thyroid/hashimotos for 20yrs. Tests showing I need less thyroxine but symptoms show otherwise.
I am having bloods tomorrow for my T3 levels and iron and vitamin D (as these were all my gp can manage) then I intend to start taking selenium,

Factors that assist T3 to enter cells
I have briefly heard about copper,
zinc
, and magnesium. However, it doesn't seem to be consistent or common. So I don't know if there are reliable tests to measure those properly and whether they truly and significantly affect T3 cellular absorption. The other thing I thought about is my liver.
