Depression and tsh?
Hey guys, I am back again! So recently tsh was 4.43 range 0.35 - 4.94, so doctor said your thyroid is back to normal, I argued that I was still at the upper end of the range and convinced this was causing my low mood and anxiety. I asked for more levothyroxine but he declined, I still argued with him

Just got updated thyroid hormone results — see why I'm tired.
Well, I can see why I am so tired. The iron panel is certainly much better, but not as high as I think it should be, but since this is my field, I will keep working on it. Serum zinc will take about a week to get back. B12 and vitamin D are very good / optimal for hypothyroid, so it's not low nutrients

Zinc and Selenium
Two vits and and minerals that appear to be required for thyroid conditions which I am not taking and wondering whether I should be at low dose as I don't want to go toxic I could test first but with the saliva test and another full thyroid panel it's getting quite expensive especially having to pay

ferritin and Levo dose
Guidance please. GP did a blood test including iron as was feeling tired, cold and shaky. Currently on 100 Levo. I never have changed brand and always do a test 9am without medication within 24 hrs beforehand etc. These are results ; no t3 tested for some reason but historically has always been in range

Taking Ferrous Sulphate Exhausts Me, Any Alternatives?
Hi All, In February 2023 I requested a blood test from my GP as I felt generally awful. I had muscle and joint pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, irritability, hair loss, overall skin sensitivity and moderate acne that scarred. I was also losing my evenings as my body was so tired, I’d nap for hours

Should I add Selenium Supplement
I am on various supplements via my old FD but Selenium is one that has never been added for me. I read so many posts on the importance of this when you have Hashi's but it's something I never added because back in 2019 I private tested and my levels were fine and I am aware if you supplement on certain

Zinc and Copper Deficiencies
Hello, All! Well it's always something - isn't it? Before I begin - a refresher - I have AMAG, PA; take B12 sublinguals daily along with 500mg folic acid daily, iron twice a week - low dose, vitamin D daily and thyroid med daily. Because of my inability to absorb B12 I thought maybe other nutrients

Six Months later - upcoming meeting with my MD (input needed)
[lab tests are from October 2022] So, it is 6 months later and things were going well on 0.075mg Synthroid (75 mcg) and 15 mcg Cytomel divided over 3 daily doses. I have been diligent with supplementing iron using a heme polypeptide every second day, alternating with zinc w/ copper and of course taking

Relieve pain in the penis, scrotum and perineum?
Pain in the penis, scrotum, and perineum can be distressing, but there are several approaches that may help relieve the discomfort. Here are some suggestions: 1. Apply warm compress: Placing a warm compress or towel on the affected area can help relax the muscles and reduce pain. Ensure the compress
