Hi all,I have hashimotos and hypothyroidism and have been a member on the thyroid forum for a while. It's been suggested I post on here for some interpretation of some bloods. I have been tested for PA but was told it was normal, but I'm sceptical given what I've read and what I'm experiencing. Apologies

Low iron levels with a heart condition
Pre heart condition (pre 2021) my iron levels had always been really good (around 140 ug/L) but since then they've dropped massively (currently 32 ug/L). To make matters worse, I unfortunately had a bowel bleed in February 2023 resulting in need a blood transfusion. I was put on ferrous sulphate for

Zinc and Selenium balance
Hi All, just wondering how much zinc and selenium I should supplement to help with T4 to T3 conversion.. and can anyone recommend a gentle iron that won't make me constipated.? B12 levels are fine.

Hi.. My daughter is age 30.. She's been having a lot of symptoms for many years.. As I have hashimoto's I figured I'd get her a private blood test. As she has. A lot of these symptoms. Her gp only tests her tsh so I thought best to get the antibody tests and T 3 done.... Surprising to me it has come

How to escape Augmentation?
I only learnt about Health Unlocked and its efforts on RLS through RLS -UK and this is my first post. I have suffered from RLS for several years and various doctors have prescribed all the general medicines starting with antidepressants (amitriptyline, mirtazapine, imipramine, and citralopram), dopramine

Test results advice... Impending doom and how to avoid it?! ..
Advice appreciated on where my T3 is at now.. I think half way so it's good?..I actually feel great again now I upped my dose.. I'm prescribed 10 mcg, but am buying 25 mch tablets splitting them into roughly 5 and taking a approx 5 mcg top up in the afternoon. My Gp spent half an hour on the phone

Happy 4th of July fellow US Americans, and Good Day to my friends elsewhere in the world! I have questions for all:
Refresher: I have b12D Pernicious Anemia with autoimmune metaplasia atrophic gastritis. Recently diagnosed with deficiencies in zinc and copper as well and am taking supplements until in the normal range. B12 sublinguals have worked for me for a 3 years, but I have been taking much more just recently

Heavy legs and breathlessness
My legs feel heavy and stiffen up very quickly if I walk on any hard surface like pavements or even supermarket floors for more than a few minutes. It's particularly bad going up any incline, however slight. I literally feel as if I am having to drag my legs and the effort makes me really breathless.

Conversion issues or adrenals.
I just received my blood results and I would like opinions of others. Since 1,5 year I am on 75mcg levo and about 3mcg of Cytomel. When i first added Cytomel I felt great, but since a few months I am in a stressful situation at home and I started gaining a lot of weight, eventhough i eat very healthy

Magnesium
Hi just wondered if anyone has taken ferrous sulphate at the same time as magnesium? I was finding magnesium helped my migraines, but now the doctors put me on ferrous sulphate for anaemia and I've been told, you can't take both, as they stop each others affectiveness. I'm very worried, as my migraines
