New here, post stent x 2...and still working out the kinks..apologies a long story!
I was started on
Zantac
150mg. The
Zantac
helped some but mild burning chest pain continued off and on, worse in the am's after the meds. I made a switch from soluble aspirin which I had been dissolving in water to enteric-coated and within 24 hours the burning had all but stopped.

Bruising fingers
Not on any meds other than
Zantac
for gerd. I’ve noticed lately that my fingers will bruise easily with very little trauma. Sort of like a blood blister. Anyone have anything like this before being diagnosed?

Constant burning in throat and severe nausea-- miserable!
During these spells I can barely eat anything and medicines like Gaviscon,
Zantac
, and Pepto don’t even touch it. Then, I will wake up the next day after having a spell and the burning will be gone, but I am left with a queasy/nauseous feeling most of the time.

Horrible acid reflux IBS-related or rebound effect from short term PPI-use?
I bought OTC Ranitidine (also sold under the name
Zantac
), a H2 receptor blocker which is not supposed to be as harmful as proton pump inhibitors, but also not as effective. I'm now suffering really bad acid reflux every day. It doesn't matter what I eat, I get it anyway.

Hives everywhere
She put me on
Zantac
and Zyrtec plus Benedryl when needed. What is a good homeopathic sauve or other that I can put on to stop the itching? Have used hydrocortisone cream - not much help. Thanks in advance.

Game-changers: Tips for Managing Chemo Side Effects
Heartburn and Acid Re flux:
Zantac
(Ranitidine) has become my best friend. After finding out that heartburn/re flux can land you in the hospital with chest pains mimicking a heart attack or clot, I learned that the right antacid can save you pain and lots of trouble.

Nausea with anxiety
I’ve been taking
Zantac
to clear the gi problems I’ve been having. It’s helped but I’m still nauseous. What does everyone do for this?

Advice for high GGT and ALP
I've been trying to not take any Ibuprofen, have tried to switch to
Zantac
instead of the Omeprazole and have radically changed my diet since all this happened (this all started with a bad reaction to taking an antibiotic for a sinus infection, which caused hot flashes and abdominal pain...antibiotic

Flecainide and zantac
At dinner time I thought I was getting acid reflux and took a
Zantac
to stop it. A little while later I went in to Afib and as I’m on pill in the pocket took a 100mg flecainide tablet. Unfortunately it didn’t stop the Afib during the night which is unusual as it normally works within a few hours.
