I'm currently on sertide and being switched over to symbicort. I'm not sure of the dosage etc as need to discuss further with gp. I'm a little concerned as been on seretide for years. When I get switched it triggers flares and I've already had loads of time of work. I work part time. I also think I'm

dipyridamole
I’m going to try this next week when I get an Rx. Looking for any pointers from anyone who has had success with it. I gather that 225mg is a common dose for RLS (three 75mg pills). I intend to start with one pill and titrate up to three quickly if there are no issues. I’m currently using buprenorphine

Buprenorphine...help with prescription please!!
Since my neurologist retired and I found a new one, my pharmacy is not accepting his order for the buprenorphine because he's saying it's for RLS and the pharmacy is saying something about it is for pain but since this new neurologist isn't a pain doctor, he said he can't prescribe it that way even though

Round 50?
Hi all - I've searched the forum trying to figure out the answer to my question but it all seems to vary so much. I am 3 years in on buprenorphine now with RLS being pretty well managed (WOOHOO). I had been struggling to lower that 2mg sublingual dose due to extreme fatigue. I had tried pregablin previous

I have been on here a few times and Jools and Sue saved my sanity! Other's have also been so kind so, thank you...again! I do have another question which I'm sure Jools and Sue can help me with. The 20 mcg Buprenorphine patch has helped my RLS hugely though I know it's lurking but I can now sleep which

Recurrent vaginal thrush- need urgent help
I had what looks like a vaginal thrush for the first time 3 weeks back. I'm 35 yrs old. My GP nurse saw me and suggested Canesten pessary. Aciclovir as prevention for shingles
I wish to express my deepest thanks to all fellow members who have responded to my recent enquiry. There has been consensus in all replies confirming that prescribing Aciclovir is standard practice.

Seeking information about encephalomalacia
Hi , I’m new to this site . I have recently given up working to become a carer for my partner who had a TBI in 2009 . He received a bleed to the brain and had to have a craniotomy . Amazingly he recovered and even went back to work but in 2018 I noticed a change in his walking and a movement in his eye

Tonsil Stones from IVF Treatment - Anyone Else?
I began my first cycle of IVF back in the summer of 2020. Whilst in treatment and injecting Gonal F, I started having tonsil stones. These are debris that builds up and sit in your tonsils causing some discomfort. I ended up doing 4 rounds of IVF so obviously the drugs/hormones messed up my body somewhat

Thrush 3 days before FET
Hi everyone, I am booked for a natural FET on Monday (I didn't take anything this cycle, not even progesterone) and the Friday before I discovered that my discharge looked like cottage cheese and I may be getting thrush. Which I haven't had in years! Has this happened to anyone else before their FET

Antibiotics and Increasing B12
Hi. I just got over a long bout with covid and am now on antibiotics (ceftin) for an ear infection (caused by covid). I've noticed since I began ceftin (8 days ago) that I'm experiencing fingers and toes tingling. Do you know if antibiotics can cause b12 depletion? I take daily 3000 mgs sublingually

looking for a neurologist
Can anyone recommend a neurologist knowledgeable in RLS in the Bristol/ Bath (England) area ? I currently have a neurologist whom I rate quite highly but who cannot prescribe opioids as they are not on the formulary of the hospital where she practises. She has however asked my GP to prescribe Oxycodone
