Hi all,

I have been diagnosed with Hepatic Peliosis of the liver. What is it? and is there any treatments please?

Does anyone else have Hepatic Peliosis ? How are your dealing with this etc?

In all my years on the forum i've never heard of this condition and it also doesn't feature on the British Liver Trust main website but a quick online search does bring up lots of information and even on You Tube there are tutorials about the condition.

If you are in the UK you could try the British Liver Trust Helpline to see if they have any knowledge of it or can help explain it.

Thank you for getting back to me.

Yes I have spent a lot of hours online researching this condition.

Hepatic Peliosis is a very rare vascular condition. But I still don't know the long term effects it's going to have on my liver and what I can do about this.

Apart from the obvious, low fat diet, exercise, no drinking and watching medication etc. Would really like to speak to someone who has the condition and if they can advise. I will try ringing the British Liver Trust Helpline. Thank you anyway.
