I’m going to try this next week when I get an Rx. Looking for any pointers from anyone who has had success with it. I gather that 225mg is a common dose for RLS (three 75mg pills). I intend to start with one pill and titrate up to three quickly if there are no issues. I’m currently using buprenorphine for my RLS. I plan on titrating down on that over a week or so after starting the dipyridamole.
Any comments or suggestions? The buprenorphine has my RLS completely under control, but I’m still struggling with constipation. So if I can find another solution I may as well try it.
I will post my results.

It already is. In the winter 2022 edition of Night Walkers, the publication of RLS.org there is an article by Sergi Ferre about dipyridamole discussing the effectiveness of it in a 2 week double blind placebo controlled study showing it completely ameliorated all symptoms. The study was by Dr. Garcia Borreguero movementdisorders.onlinelib...sciencedirect.com/science/a...
It worked well for me for my RLS, but just know that if you have any surgery in the future and you are taking dipyridamole, they will make you stop taking it for about 2 weeks before surgery since it is a form of blood thinner. So you may want to have something you can take in its place for your RLS if you find yourself in this situation. Good luck! I hope it works well for you.
Hi 707twitcher. I’m glad you are planning to try one tablet first. I did the same and had awful side effects, even on such a low dose. The next morning I had a very strong headache and was vomiting. I felt so incredibly sick! It was like the worst hangover ever. This lasted most of the day.
Didn't work for me. Went up slower than you to over 300mg. Terrible terrible time going up and getting off of it, also very slowly. From reading a lot about it my impression was that it either worked pretty quickly with minimal side effects or never worked. Good luck.
