Thank you all who have responded to my post about the drug Xarelto.I took my first tablet yesterday and so far no problems.

Hi Dee,

Nice to hear that Dee, only started on them myself quite recently. I assume you are taking 20mg? And are you having regular "Renal and Liver function" checks if you don't mind me asking.

Hi Barry

I was on 20mg for some time but I had a liver and kidney function test which was slightly off and my doc switched me to 15mg. All blood tests have been in the normal range since.

I sure was pleased I was taking Rivaoxaban when I had my last massive AF attack, put on intravenous morphine for the pain and chemically converted with flecainide. I have never felt so ill in my life and terrified but at least I felt I had stroke protection. Be well.
