Myo and D Chiro Inositol for Hashimotos
Hi all I’d really appreciate your thoughts. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos around 6 years ago after gradually becoming very unwell with Hypo symptoms. Two years ago I found out the Hashimotos had destroyed my ovarian reserve and after a number of false starts and two rounds of IVF my consultant advised

Dry very itchy eyes
I think I have posted for advice re. eye problem before and for a time was taking Hycosan, hycosan extra and hycosan night which provided quite a bit of ease. However no longer working...anyone got any other suggestions?, opticians only dealing with emergencies at present.

Intra-muscular depo-madrone injection
I have had an intramuscular 120mg depo-medrol injection to treat newly diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis affecting my hands and wrists as a “test” before starting DMARDS. Can anyone shed any light on what as a “test” means, how long it takes to work and how long any relief may last?

Injection Update
Hi Everyone. Today I went for my injection which is every 2 months. Precautions were tighter than last visit. This time I had to ware a mask. I hated it, it seemed so difficult to breath. Cannot imagine having to work all day wearing a mask. Last visit I only had injection but this time I had

Emdr for Real Event OCD
Has anyone ever done EMDR for Real Event OCD? I did something to someone years ago that I simply cannot forgive myself for though they have forgiven me. I think about it daily and it was over a year ago. Thanks!

First run done.
I’ve taken the opportunity to start the C25K as the streets are much quieter. I’m visually impaired (blind in one eye and no peripheral vision in the other) therefore I’ve always been worried about bumping into people! So I’m enjoying a little more space during this lockdown. I’ve started exercising

Face mask project part 1
Well, I was all set to try making a face mask, pieces are all cut out ready, when I got a message on Friday from brother who lives in an assisted living facility with his wife who is paralysed down her left side following a brain stem stroke. Anyway, he’d decided he wanted to give her carers thank you

Pegasys syringe sometimes leaks
I have been on Pegasys 90mcg weekly since last July. I am always very careful preparing the syringe but approximately every second or third week some leaks out from the join between the needle part and the syringe part. The drug is working so I can't be losing that much I suppose (even though it feels

Being on hydroxychloroquine for SLE makes no difference to severity of Coronavirus infection - Covid-19 Global Rheum Alliance report
This has just been released. https://ard.bmj.com/content/early/2020/05/07/annrheumdis-2020-217690 Sadly no protection for us being on hydroxychloroquine it seems. Also the hospitalisation figures (55 - 57%) were horribly high in this, but I'm reminding myself that these cases are physician reported

Dermatica - adapalene / Niacinamide
i recently started adapalene & Niacinamide and as expected people said your skin will get worse before it gets better however I’m scared I’m having some reaction... i did purge the first week and had way more spots than usual but now the second week I’ve broke out in tiny bumps everywhere and I’m scared

Low blood pressure
Hey, when I went for my bloods, I had one nurse say my blood pressure was low and another say it was slightly low. They told me to not worry about it but I’m starting to get light headed/seeing floaters when standing up etc. Do I need to call the midwife? I’m still really sick/drained, I’m 9 weeks on

Not lung related, but relevant to a lot of members. New eye test detects earliest signs of glaucoma.
A simple eye test could help solve the biggest global cause of irreversible blindness, glaucoma. In clinical trials, the pioneering diagnostic test – developed by researchers at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and the Western Eye Hospital – allowed doctors to see individual nerve cell death in the back

Clonazapam for ocd, ptsd, etc.
Hello all....I suffer horribly from ptsd, Ocd, anxiety, and depression. The only thing that brings true relief is clonazapam. I am currently on 50 mg of lamictal and it is not doing anything. I am in therapy also. Does anyone know if a therapeutic dose of lamictal may get me to a place of calm like clonazapam
