I have fought with gp for 3 years about my thyroid , it's so hard to get someone to listen - first they had me down for menopause( I was 37 at this point) along the way I have been diagnosed coeliac and due to brca 2 mutation now had a oopherectomy. I was beginning to question if my symptoms were due

Had endoscopy but no diagnosis
I had my endoscopy today but they found nothing. No reflux, inflammation or anything. It really annoys me how they put it down to 'anxiety'. I do not even have anxiety. Surely I cannot be dreaming of my symptoms. It usually happens when I eat. I was nauseated and sick all day yesterday. I have this burning

Hi, I am on a NHS waiting list for gallbladder surgery as I have a large gallstone that's causing me pain. (I am in the UK.) At a recent consultation at my local hospital I advised my surgeon's colleague that I have recently tested positive for Beta-2 glycoprotein 1 antibodies, both IgG, IgM and am waiting

Understanding my pain
My community is pain, simply because I live in pain 24/7 and I try to understand it. I know, more or less, where my pain is coming from. It's coming from the many conditions that I have been blessed to experience. I consider each pain to be a blessing because it reminds me that I am alive and not buried

The last couple of months for a few days around the same time of month I feel like I'm getting a period, down to the diarrhoea and horrible feeling in abdomen

Hi, recently had blood results back . tsh now at 6.6.. 9 weeks ago it was at 7.. And before that 16 I think?. Anybody know why. If I 'was' taking 125mcg , that my tsh number has slowed down this time?. It's only dropped from 7 to 6.6.. I'm now on 150 mcg as suggested by my doctor.. But what is this

Day 2 of Obin, Ibutinib, Venetoclax Clinical Trial
Hi everyone, I completed the second day of the trial, and I couldn’t be happier about my decision. Day 2 was “Groundhog Day,” i.e. a repeat of day 1 in all ways except we ramped up to 900 mg from 100 mg of obinutuzumab infusion. I had maybe 5 minutes of slight stomach and lower back pain, but that was

Recap my a&e visit today, and thank you sisters x
Hi all, Firstly I need to thank you amazing ladies for responding to my message earlier today. You started by lifting me out of a desolate frame of mind, you encouraged me to go find help, and you stayed with me though that horrible drive to A&E when you are steeling yourself to be told "your bloods

Herbs for depression
I would like to take a herbal anti-depressant for a while. I am on 75 mcg levo at the moment. Does anyone have any advice on a good herb and any counter indications for levo? I have heard taking St. John's Wort can be a bit tricky.

Heart Failure/Atrial Fibrillation medicine from Foxgloves. Once a mainstay heart drug, but superseded by safer drugs that extend life.
[i]'In the modern era, digoxin was considered, for many years, the mainstay of treatment for people with heart failure. However, this has changed over the last decade as it has been replaced as first-line treatment with other medicines which are generally safer to use and known to improve patient survival
