Help and advice regarding management of surgical menopause at 27 years old?
Hiya, I'm 27 years old, just been diagnosed with early stage uterine cancer and as it's estrogen positive, I will be unable to commence hormone replacement therapy after my hysterectomy (inc. uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes and removal of both ovaries). Any advice and help on how to mentally prepare

I have had a total hysterectomy including ovary removal can it come back?
So February this year I had a major operation to remove everything ovaries, womb the lot. Plus bowel surgery. I had a stoma until August and I have recently had an operation to reverse it back. Just the other day I noticed I had similar symptoms to when I had endometriosis. I’m very scared that it’s

How long will it take until I have my energy back?
I was diagnosed with ovarian/peritoneal cancer 14 months ago. Surprising as I had bilateral oophorectomy (and tubes) removed 10 years ago due to benign cysts. It was considered to be inoperable and I had the full round of chemo and all the miseries that go with that. I was very fortunate after this to

salpingo oophorectomy
Hi, I had stage 1 breast cancer 2 years ago and I opted for double mastectomy in order to reduce any chances of it coming back. My 1st mammo was normal result, 6 months later I still felt the lump and I went for a breast assessment and the Prof in the hospital said it was diffused tissue . Nearly a yr

Stage 1a triple negative breast cancer
I was diagnosed 1 1/2 years ago with stage 0 triple negative DCIS. I had a lumpectomy with sentinel lymph node removal. It turned out to be stage 1a triple negative breast cancer. The tumor was very tiny and my lymph nodes were clear. I also had 20 rounds of radiation treatment. My oncologist told me

Gallstones - Severe Bloating
I went to the GP due to severe bloating which started back in April/May. It’s always there but worse after eating. GP did bloods (clear) and ultrasound. They found large gallstones. I have been suffering mildly with colic type pain and reflux for a few years. I take PPIs which help, otherwise I struggle

Uterosacral Ligaments
Hi ladies Does anyone have any advice on deep infiltrating endo on the uterosacral ligaments? I've had 3 surgeries over 20 years; in summary - ablation in 2002, ovaries removed in 2015 and then full hysterectomy in 2017. On top of my endo I also had adenomyosis. I was 44 in 2015 so went onto HRT then

Just finished radiotherapy but feel overwhelmed
Hi everyone This is my first post here and hoping for a little guidance/advice. I was diagnosed in May with grade 3, ER+ HER2- breast cancer. Lymph node removal showed no spread, so lumpectomy and radiotherapy, along with taking Tamoxifen (oncotype result 17, so no chemo). Haven't felt too bad physically

Any light at the end of this long ‘waiting’ tunnel?
Hi everyone , I was just wondering how people have found getting back on track after the Covid thing. I have had a nightmare so am just getting it all out of my system in what might come across as a long whining post ( apologies if it sounds like this) - I have had numerous symptoms that I have struggled

Getting diagnosed
I am 40 years old and have dealt with chronic pelvic pain for years. I am in the US, but I enjoy this forum and I hope it's okay to post here. I'll give you a bit of my history. In 2017, I had several uterine polyps removed. At the time, my surgeon wanted to explore for endometriosis, but I could

Feeling the pain
Last November I had three short courses of Brachytherapy following a hysterectomy for womb cancer. I thought all was going okay but began to have rectal bleeding. To cut a long story short I had a flexi-sig and transanal ultrasound done today. For the first time I saw the issues. Firstly a polyp
