salpingo oophorectomy

Hi, I had stage 1 breast cancer 2 years ago and I opted for double mastectomy in order to reduce any chances of it coming back. My 1st mammo was normal result, 6 months later I still felt the lump and I went for a breast assessment and the Prof in the hospital said it was diffused tissue . Nearly a yr later I asked the doc to refer me again for a mamo. Again my mamo was normal. On the same day I had an ultra sound scan and the result was an immediate biopsy and a diagnosis a wk later to say I had stage 1 bc. .2yrs later I opted for a saplingO oophorectomy. I’m post 8 wks now. I sailed through it thank God although I have hot flushes and low moods. I went to doc and she prescribed a low dose anti depressant to help with the moods. the hot flushes I can deal with, but low moods and irritability I couldn’t deal with especially having 3 young children. My question to anyone who’s ever had This salpingo op is, is it normal to have spotting after 8 wks?stomach feels crappy also. Many thanks

Hey I only had one ovary removed but I bled for some time, as time went on I found it was when I had done too much - shopping, walking, moving etc x

Many thanks for your reply, I went to my GP today so that I could put my mind to rest. You are right, I had been gravelling my garden with wheel barrow loads of gravel and in general I probably do too much🥴xx
