I find the sublingual ones work well like Nature Provides but it could be that your magnesium levels are low and this also helps with the uptake of Vit D?

My magnesium level is in good range

Probably just not taking enough Vit D then, this is useful... grassrootshealth.net/projec...

How much vitamin D have you been taking per day

Are you taking magnesium too - best taken afternoon or evening at least 4 hours away from levothyroxine

What are your thyroid levels like

Have you now increased to 75mcg daily?

Retest 8 weeks after each increase in dose Levo

This is still only one step up from starter dose

Guidelines of dose Levo by weight

approx how much do you weigh in kilo

Even if we frequently start on only 50mcg, most people need to increase levothyroxine dose slowly upwards in 25mcg steps (retesting 6-8 weeks after each increase) until eventually on, or somewhere near full replacement dose (typically 1.6mcg levothyroxine per kilo of your weight per day)

cks.nice.org.uk/topics/hypo...

bnf.nice.org.uk/drugs/levot...

Some people need a bit less than guidelines, some a bit more

TSH should be under 2 as an absolute maximum when on levothyroxine

gponline.com/endocrinology-...

Graph showing median TSH in healthy population is 1-1.5

Comprehensive list of references for needing LOW TSH on levothyroxine

onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi...

If symptoms of hypothyroidism persist despite normalisation of TSH, the dose of levothyroxine can be titrated further to place the TSH in the lower part of the reference range or even slightly below (i.e., TSH: 0.1–2.0 mU/L), but avoiding TSH < 0.1 mU/L. Use of alternate day dosing of different levothyroxine strengths may be needed to achieve this (e.g., 100 mcg for 4 days; 125 mcg for 3 days weekly).

How much were you taking? What was the brand?

Most people need a minimum of 3,000iu's, preferably with vit K2 to help it go to your bones.

Some vit D+K2 comes in an oil which helps it absorb better, or take with an oily meal.

I was searching for 1000iu max 2000iu with K2 ... any is good spray, gummies or tablets just need anything which really work as most of them got reviews what say about their plasma level not changed at all

Then you are on too lower dose. Try 3,000iu with k2. Many members like the Better You mouth spray 1,000iu per spray.

If their level hasnt changed then likely they need a higher dose.

This is the make and company I use ..

bigvits.co.uk/healthy-origi...

gelcap, in a good oil. (VitD is fat solluble)this 5000ius one a year's supply for under £20. (Other strengths available - I take the 10000ius one) Its a very good supplement & should raise your levels unless you have issues will absorbing pills. Doesn't have K2 in with it, but I have to use diet for that.

Is there a reason why you want to take such a small amount?

I just read about doses now, I will probably take around 4000ui a day

I would try 4 spays per day (4000iu) of vitamin D with K2 by Better you

One spray = 1000iu

betteryou.com/collections/v...

Often cheaper at Amazon or H&B if on offer

Plus a separate magnesium supplement in afternoon or evening, at least 4 hours away from Levo

Personally I like Thorne Magnesium

Large capsules, open and dissolve in small glass water
