Keep taking the tablets!
I've just been down to the G.P. for my freebie B12 jab. (s.i. at home weekly) I told her that I've been feeling really tired lately, like I did before my P.A. diagnosis, when I was very anemic. So she says, ah, go and buy some B12 tablets from the chemist, that will make you feel better! Cue the lecture

Improved?
Had investigations for right ear polyp that had been present for over 20 years but making routine ear micro suctioning difficult (long standing over production of ear wax). Had hearing test but waited for results (October 2023). Went to concert 3rd Nov and mistakenly did not wear ear plugs. Very loud

Well, finally landed on my feet with this neurologist. Her name is Dr.Phillips, she is in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada for anyone out here seeking a neurologist. For those not familiar with the health system structure in Canada, one can ONLY get in to see a Neurologist with a referral form a first

Results of 14 day trial.
20 days ago I started a 14 days trial of 1.5 mg of methylcobalamin and 0.5 mg adenosylcobalamin 5 times a day and setting an alarm to inject in the night. The result was positive and I am 6 days into another trial which is positive. As expected with improved self treatment I experienced a short up

Cod Liver oil in TTC? Mega confused 🫤
Hey! Sooo this is probably really random, but after my last failure and trying to recover from hysteroscopy I’ve been looking at what supplements to take generally and also to improve my lining. One thing that came up was fish oil. I used to take a cod liver oil supplement up until last year when

stopping vitamins before tests
hi everyone, I can’t remember if I have to stop my vitamin b12 and D before doing my medichecks test - the one that tests for t3, t4, tsh, folate, b12, D, ferritin and inflammation. I’m taking the vitamins in spray form now so no biotin - is there any other reason I have to stop before testing? Thanks

Diagnosed with CLL in October 2022 W&W
Hello. I am recently diagnosed with CLL (10/22, 13q/mutated) with current WBC of 15k and Lymphs at 10k. I've always had pretty good body weight but since diagnosis, I've been especially mindful of getting all my blood markers in the best possible position to make my body as inhospitable as possible

Success with Adderall dependence and changing medications?
Anyone have any luck changing medications while dependent on Adderall? If so, how did you do it and what if any supplements did you use? Even if it was just quitting altogether, that can be helpful too. I am not addicted, but I am definitely dependent on Adderall. Like many others. The chance to stop

Loose Woman
Today Colleen talked about fatigue She was told the menopause. Is a vegan. Told pre diabetic type 2 I've emailed loose women as a good platform. Was her B12 tested .? Even if it was tested it should've been stated /discussed on the programme as very relevant to the topic ! Hope I get a reply

PA and Metformin
Hi Brains Trust! As of a visit to my GP this morning, I'm staring down the barrel of Type 2 diabetes and, whilst having already begun to implement a diet/exercise regime, I was wondering what effect metformin might have on my B12 levels as I'm already SI every 2-3 weeks, depending on symptoms. I know

Frequent injuries when exercising.
I have been hypo for about 10 years, currently on 75mcg levo, and 10mcg lio but drop to 5mcg twice a week, otherwise my heart rate goes up from 60’s to 90’s. TSH 0.01, FT4 16.1, FT3 4.6, both 41% through range. Vit D 85. I find if I do even pilates, ligaments and bursae get easily inflamed. Eg an ankle
