Today Colleen talked about fatigue

She was told the menopause.

Is a vegan.

Told pre diabetic type 2

I've emailed loose women as a good platform.

Was her B12 tested .?

Even if it was tested it should've been stated /discussed on the programme as very relevant to the topic !

Hope I get a reply

I received a similar response from the the Care Opinion who directed me to Pals & the Ombudsman ! I didn't write a damned complaint it was facts about the lack of understanding of a B12 deficiency and poor management ! 🤔

Maybe if more of us email the programme we will be heard. 🤞

Yrs I've passed on comments for better understanding and processes for education.

Treated as a complaint .m

??

Wasn't on 3 different occasions and said so.

The only way I found effective was to phone snd speak to a charge nurse on a ward.

Not documented I know but was recieved with interest and I felt would be acted on or at least raised with colleagues.

Yes. B12 the obvious one to highlight given the topic.

And this forum.

The rest on raising awareness follows hopefully.

It eas just too obvious not to mention given ;

1. Symptoms

2. Vegan diet

3. Blaming the menopause yet again.

We don’t want to be blinkered by our PA either. A friend of mine is really sick either extremely low folate. It could be so many things.

Oh yes i agree.Not blinkered

On the topic Loose women portrayed I just thought an opportunity to raise awareness of b12 deficiency especislly as a vegan

Also as diagnosed with borderline type 2 diabetes, metaformin may also be prescribed that as we know further reduces b12.

I hope your friend improves
