After some info on cardio exercise and B12 deficiency.......
I little bit of my B12 history: diagnosed 7½ years ago, been self injecting for 7 years, and am currently SI'ing every 3 days. With this protocol I have no symptoms. I can walk for miles every day, I can do weight training at the gym 2 to 3 times a week, I work, I go out, I have a happy, healthy marriage

Starting levothyroxine- which brand?
Hi, I have been asked by the end to start on 75mcg Levothyroxine today. I am gluten free and have reactive hypoglycaemia so avoid sugar/ carbs; is there a particular brand of Levothyroxine that might be good for me? I also take a bunch of supplements; Vit D, B complex, selenium, magnesium, iron;

Thyroid Test Results
As a result of my GP pressurising me to reduce Levothyroxine intake I have had tests carried out privately. My weight justifies the dosage of 200mcg daily that is currently prescribed. (1.6mcg/kg) However this dosage results in incredibly low TSH levels. My GP seeks to raise TSH levels. Results are

Hi all, So i've been under private thyroid care for just over and year and a half. I was on 75mcg a day from about 18 years old to 42 years old, had bloods checked and all 'in range' but I didn't feel good. Tired a lot and sluggish and constipation, cold sensitiveness. After changing to private,

low TSH
I have autoimmune thyroid disease diagnosed 23yrs ago and have been on the hypothyroid treadmill since. Yet again GP wants to reduce my levothyroxine and liothyronine as my TSH is 0.12. this happens regularly and my TSH never changes. Many years ago an ultrasound of my thyroid showed it was “shrivelled

recommedations for patches or lozenges
I have been injecting my son with B12 for a couple of months about twice a week. He tried self injecting but has a needle phobia and was passing out. He is about to go away Europe for a month and I thought to get him some patches or lozenges to try and help keep his levels of B12 up. Has anyone used

Results - help please
Hi there,I am posting on behalf of my mum (I have hashis and in my own personal nightmare!). She has diagnosed hypothyroidism, not autoimmune. She is 72, has been on levo for around 20 years, current dose 75mg, she doesn't specify a brand so I suspect it's whatever the pharmacist gives her. Serum ferritin

Low dhea-s in parkinsons patient with dementia
My father was diagnosed with Parkinsons and sudden onset of dementia following a bout of covid 19 2 years ago. He is not very responsive to levodopa after that and after several consults with neurologists have found no other solutions. Tam some tests based on PD panel by Laura Mischley, and gave him

I have a unicorn doctor
ohmygoodness…. I know this should be the standard level of care but I’m still in shock. I just had my latest GP appointment who has been looking after me since my big crash back in March. She had agreed 3 weeks ago to put me back onto weekly injections after such a dismal response to monthly (surprise

Could I actually have a thyroid issue? Thyroid tests seem fine. Confused, please help
Hi everyone, I’m seeing a functional doctor in Brazil (online, so there’s some limitation) and also working with a few traditional medicine doctors in the UK. I became an useless person over the last year, I went from bright and lively to stupid, fat, insomnia ridden, gold-fish memory, paper thin

Help, GP appointment tomorrow still can't get them to listen.
So the saga continues, Sneaky GP has refused to reinstate 150mcg daily since reducing it to 150mcg eod in November when TSH 0.01 , 0.27- 4.2, FT4 21.6 12-22, .my HbA1c went up to 54 Vit D 125 , Endo recently said this level was dangerously toxic thought the range BH anyway of 75-200 was optimal

what is it this time?
Ok, so I’ve been SI for just under a month, moving from twice weekly to about EOD following symptoms response. I was initially taking 3mg folic acid each morning with food along with magnesium at night. Two days ago I bought a new brand of folic and increased my dosage to 5mg (following recommendations

Hi all,
I posted this query a few days ago and it was kindly analysed for me by greygoose (comments further down). However, I didn't understand what he/she was telling me - so I wonder if anyone could explain for me? Do the results indicate hypothyroidism? Do I need meds or can I tweak via
