Ritalin side effects
My son recently diagnosed ADHD was put on Ritalin (short acting) once a day at 10mg it’s only been around 3-4 weeks since he started however I’ve noticed really bad smelling farts and constant urination. Has anyone else experienced similar? I’m not sure if I should be concerned about these side effects

Ferritin Questions
Hi everyone. I self inject b12, 3x per week. I also take a daily dose of methylfolate. In the past both of these have been extremely low, along with very low ferritin. Of late I have wondered if my iron was dropping, so requested bloods a couple of weeks ago. Folate happily is pretty good at 19( at

10yo daughters results…HELP!
Hello, I have posted before regarding my daughter who is 10yo but we have just had some very unusual and worrying results which may explain her health issues. She has a long term history of low platelets and I’ve been trying to solve this for her as it has been unexplained. We have strong family history

What deficiencies could B12 injection cause?
Some of you might remember me writing about how, since moving to Pascoe vials from Dr Myhill's multi use vial, I've been experiencing whole of body mini vibrations / electricity / agitation. It's particularly bad in the night and I wake with it. I had worked out that it's tolerable by reducing injection

B12 expiry date
I ordered from Germany last year, not realising the expiry date. I have 2 boxes of 10 ampoules that expired December 2023.. 😕 can I still use them.On a positive note I took a chance to call my GP surgery for a prescription it must be my lucky year, they said yes!! I had previously saved conversations

Vit C study for this group?
Sanjay Gupta, York cardiologist, has several interesting Youtube vdeos on A F as I am sure you all know. On the vitamin C one he talks about how it might be helpful in reducing AF but big pharma are never going to sponsor a study as there is no money in it for them. He suggests it is something patients

Why I now use Methylcobalamin rather than any other form.
I reviewed the medical field's rationale for prescribing whatever form they preferred and found the rationale based on retention times as established by the same method as medication with no regards to effectiveness of healing and therefore not credible. Same with amounts and frequency. It suits them

Antidepressants
Hi all, Increased anxiety has become one of my worst symptoms of B12 deficiency and (possible*) PA. I’m on 4 weekly B12 injections (Hydrocobalamin 1mg) on the NHS but I’ve not noticed any improvements so far. I’ve had the 6 loading doses and 2 further injections so far. I’m taking D3/K2 (3000iu/100ug

Alzheimer's drug - Panorama
Has anyone seen the recent Panorama programme on Lecanumab, the latest drug for Alzheimer's? The presenter reveals how the drug causes major side effects and brain enlargement. It is considered a step forward for Alzheimer's treatment but sadly only effective when caught at an early stage. To highlight

Ferritin and B12D/PA
Some time ago (on this forum?) I read that 80% of PA people had peripheral neuropathy and 20% did not. I have dizziness, brain fog and tinnitus but not PN. I believe the above are related to the central nervous system rather than the peripheral nervous system. What I'm discovering in my case is that the
