Iron supplementation
Hi I have Hashimoto's - as yet untreated due to fluctuating TSH levels. My symptoms are numerous, and due to low levels of B12 and vitamin D, I am supplementing those. I am gluten Soy and Dairy free. My ferritin has been historically low and the GPs have frequently me prescribed Ferrous Fumarate.

B12 deficiency, Acid Reflux, heartburn
I’ve recently been diagnosed as B12 deficient. My symptoms were tingling in my feet and calves, hair loss, memory loss, ringing in my ears, exhaustion. This has been going on for over a year. I have been taking b12 vitamins this whole time and started taking them sublingually. Still no change in my levels

B12 and menopause?
Hiya! I’ve been advised to take vitamin b complex for menopause symptoms but is there any point if I have pernicious anaemia? Might be a silly question but if my body can’t absorb it (I have injections every 3 months) isn’t my body just getting rid of it every day? Some advice would be good!

How to inject Hevert ampoules
I ordered the Hevert B12.A few responses were from people who had used these ampoules. These ampoules contain a lot more liquid than Panpharma ones. Can you tell me how to use them please. Do I inject in two goes or is it safe to inject the full amount at once. I am now doing sub cut but will go back

Retest advice please
I am intending to arrange a follow up private blood test following a dose increase and change of Levo brand 6 weeks ago. I also changed from taking Levo in the morning to bedtime. The previous test I had was a Medicheck Advanced Thryoid finger prick test but I would welcome advice as to whether I should

Supplements.
I have had PD for nearly ten years. I am not a Coeliac. I am trying supplements to see if they can improve my Leaky gut problems. Does anyone else take supplements and do they have any contraindications with my PD meds. My local pharmacy are no help, and I have yet to meet a Dr who knows about nutrition

B6 and tingling in toes
My brother has been experiencing tingling in his toes. A retired doctor who my brother sees socially told him to have B12 tested, and also B6. I briefly googled B6 and saw reports in general websites that both high and low levels of B6 can cause tingling in toes. My brother told me that his B6 tested

New smaller needle issue
Following recommendations on here. I used 31G 6 mm Needle for subcutaneous, I've previously been using 1inch needles for I M injections. I have just used the new 31G needle and have a lump on my thigh under my skin is this normal? Has the B12 gone in? What have I done wrong??

Loading doses of B12
I will try and keep this as short as possible. 21 years ago GP diagnosed PA and up until 3 years ago I had B12 injections every 12 weeks. 3 years ago the CCG instructed GP's to cut down giving injections to anyone unless they had PA. My jobsworth GP decided to give me a blood test, which was in

Having pain for 3/4 weeks
Hello, I was wondering if anyone else struggle with pain when they are not on their period. I struggle with cramps, lower back pain and hip pain the week before my period, the week of my period and the week after so I seem to only get 1 week out of 4 where I'm not in pain. I had an internal ultrasound

b12 testing
My worry is this. I had low b12 2 years ago (aug 2022) , it came back in the 200s, can’t quite remember. I had loading doses and it came back in 900s. The doctors left it at that. Then in September of this year (2 months ago) it came back at 390 (180-900). Ive been feeling worse and worse ever since

Safe and useful to take K2 MK7 after stent and under clopidogrel ??
After ordinary check up, my cardiologist diagnosed a block of branch and prescribed coronarography... during the procedure placing of a stent and since then I have to take the "usual" cocktail: clopidogrel (for maybe 1 year?) + 80mg statins + asaflow + ramipril... I'm looking for something else, to

Confounded by two different results for MMA test. One negative, one positive
About six weeks ago husband took a Medichecks MMA test. It was over range (positive) In a way I was relieved by this because it meant that now we knew what we were dealing with and what to do about it. However, GP was clueless and referred us on to a specialist in Cambridge, who five weeks after the
