Not many embryos - should I undergo reproductive immunology testing?
I also have a slight

deficiency because of the meds I take for arthritis. I also have mild adenomyosis, suspected endo and polycystic ovaries (but not PCOS). I have also battled with recurrent BV and ureaplasma in my vaginal microbiome.

Suspected Pernicious Anemia - what next?
Hello, I am very glad to have found this forum as I have been researching B12D and PA a lot recently. I became familiar with the society’s website and found it so helpful. I am 29F in the US and I suspect I have Pernicious Anemia. This is what I know so far (sorry in advance if this post rambles on)

Ferritin levels
I have collected my blood test results and am looking for information before my g.p. follow up appointment tomorrow.I am under the impression that ferritin levels should be "optimum" in order for my B12 injections to work for pernicious anaemia. Although I've been told all of my blood results are "normal

Fibroscan CAP scores
There are a few things that I don’t understand about Fibroscan CAP scores. I have looked at the NICE 49 full guideline which can be found here: https://www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ng49/evidence/full-guideline-pdf-2548213310 Fibroscan CAP scores are discussed in detail on pages 62 to 74; the CAP scores

first b12 injection learning all I can
hello, first post so I’ll try to keep it concise as I have a lot going on. I appreciate any tips and/or input you care to share. I’m 55years old, post menopausal and I have hashimotos, lupus, anti phospholipid syndrome and had a thyroidectomy years ago. So figuring out symptoms has always been a challenge

For anyone who is on T3 only... When did you realise you needed it?
Hi everyone. I've been on a real journey since January with Hashimoto's. I started on levothyroxine and it made me feel a lot worse. I started seeing a private thyroid doctor who looked at my bloods and saw my T3 had dropped on levo, and with my symptoms she decided levo was not right for me and put

Last week I had a
vitamin
B12
shot on Monday, and then on Tuesday I saw a hematologist because I wanted to rule out that I'm anemic. He ordered labs (they did them right there on site). A few minutes later, he said I was not anemic and was also probably not B12 deficient.

Sorry, slightly off topic. I do my daughters B12 injections for her, she has a needle phobia. She has just come out of hospital since an operation and is required to have 42 days of blood thinning injections, which I do each day at 7pm. There are some days where I really cannot be available.. she
