B12 Information
yes I love his repeated return to trials should be randomised control trials. Thanks for sharing
The transcript almost starts with “Acne is a disease unique to humans.”
But there are reams of pages if you search for cat and dog acne!
Of course, this could be sloppy writing - with the feline and canine disorders being similar but actually different. But it doesn't endear me to the presentation.
But the B12 and cancer issue is interesting and, to me, seems likely he is right.
Dr.Greger! Vegan Propagandist 😜
But I do enjoy his videos 😁
Apart from the way he always says his "until they ..... put it to the test" catchphrase .... it drives me up the wall 🤣
He’s such a goofball but I really like his videos. I agree with your opinion about his vegetarian patter. I just ignore that part and go get a hamburger.
Ah, I was posting somewhat tongue-in-cheek 🤗. I am still vegan but not for health reasons and what I see happening with Dr.Greger is that his research does not admit the slightest possibility that even small amounts of animal foods in the diet are not harmful to health which is the case according to the best current nutrition science. He takes a very one-sided picture in this respect and he is also off the mark on oils such as Olive or Rapeseed oil.
That said, I got a ton of great information from his videos (and books), and his daily dozen app is great, I just take him with a pinch of salt because he will never post a video that admits that any amount of animal food in the diet is not harmful. The science does not back him up on that, despite his claimed allegience to evidence-based nutrition. Sources like Simon Hill (from "The Proof") and Gil Carvalho (from "Nutrition Made Simple") show far less bias and more commitment to the evidence, whatever it might show.
