Nervous energy?
I've now had my 6 loading doses of B12 and also started using a sub-lingual B12 spray. I have not felt any better as yet but I have felt a kind of nervous energy, it almost feels like irritability or a vague anxiety. I wonder if my body does not quite know how to handle the change! Has anyone else

While I am at it...shortness of breath
I get shortness of breath that is pretty severe. I do have COPD. Yesterday it was crippling and lasted all day. It gets much worse when I lie down. Is this a common symptom of B12 deficiency? I did an injection early in the day, and the shortness of breath was gone not until about 22 hours later

Bench mark blood tests before switching to NDT
I would welcome any comments or advice on these results and on the process of switching from levothyroxine to NDT. Thank you! Hypothyroidism I have been taking levothyroxin 100 mg for over 30 years since my early 40s. (This is my only medication. Otherwise I keep healthy with yoga, regular exercise

levo increase!
Hi all about a month ago I increased my levo from 100mcgs to 112mcgs daily as per body weight thing! I am unfortunately 100kgs 😟 I am feeling a bit tired again sleeping a lot and not having much energy! I am doing something wrong? 😑 PS still have the ongoing saga with the deficient B12 and folate

Tingly Legs
Been on 25mg levothyroxine for about 18 months due to Tsh being 3.0 and GP wanted it under 2.0 as trying to conceive. Never noticed any side affects. For about 4 weeks now I've had a tingling feeling in legs and feet and one hand which is carpal tunnel like. Bloods fine, b12 satisfactory and tsh is 1.9

hello. I’m new to the group I’ve had under active thyroid for approx 2 years diagnosed during covid. I was just told over the phone you need thyroxine it’s sent to the chemist and that’s all the info I got. I’ve had another blood test as my shoulders and hips are in almost constant discomfort all that

Hi all, I was able to feel better over the last year with the help of this forum, a big thank you. My problem started with neurological symptoms without knowing what was happening! Then with the help of people here and researching I found out I was low in b12 when started treating with folic acid (5mg

Inflammation and RLS
I have always believed that inflammation was part of my RLS. I believe this because my RLS responds well to ibuprofen. A recent blog was using this study http://www.smj.org.sg/sites/default/files/SMJ-57-514.pdf The study is from 2016. The study proposes to use the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio

Spray methylcobalamin
Do try a sublingual spray, if you haven't already. I was a bit sceptical, but having bought some 'Better You B12 Boost' today, in Holland and Barrett (UK) it certainly perked me up a bit.

Thoughts on test results
This is my first post. I’ve been avidly reading back through past information and found it very empowering - I’ve been inspired to take control of my health. I’ve just had results back from a Medichecks thyroid panel and would appreciate your thoughts. Full information about my history and symptoms

B1 Therapy for Parkinson's
My wife was diagnosed with Parkinson's 4 years ago aged 64 and is finding walking and balance becoming increasingly difficult. My father who died aged 79 also suffered from Parkinson's I myself may be displaying early indicators of Parkinson's having developed a very poor sense of smell around 8 years

7 day trial
I was injecting 1 mg of Methyelcobalamin and 1 mg of Hydroxocobalamin 5 times a day +- and taking 6 mg SL Adenosylcobalamin. I ran out of Hydroxocobalamin and substituted Cynocabalamin for 5 days. One vial. I could not discern any difference. Not a long trial and it is hard to evaluate as I am improving

B12 injectables in Australia
Hi, I’m moving back to Australia next month after 15 years living in Europe. My question, can anyone in Australia advise me on where to get Hydroxocobalamin injectables? Is it easy to find? Can I buy over the counter? I’ll visit a doctor as soon as possible, but will they be understanding and prescribe

Would an iodine supplement help?
I still don't feel well (very tired and the most dreadful brain fog which has stopped me driving) and wondered how I would know if an iodine supplement might help? Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Latest Medichecks results - stopped taking b12 liquid 2 weeks before test. Taking Spatone, VitaminD

Advice on Blood results please?
Hi, I'm not diagnosed with any thyroid problems but have had numerous blood tests over the last 4 years because of severe menopause symptoms that have not responded to HRT. Would you be able to have a look and see what you think please? I have also included some of the vitamins tested.
