Do try a sublingual spray, if you haven't already. I was a bit sceptical, but having bought some 'Better You B12 Boost' today, in Holland and Barrett (UK) it certainly perked me up a bit.

Glad you've found sone benefit from it. I've bought this in the past as can help some inbetween b12 injections.
Did nothing for me and i was consistent in use.
Disappointed.
It works for my sister alongside b12 tablets,
doesn't need b12 injections though .
Same for one of my daughters .
I do use that make for vit D and K combined .
That works .
You can buy it in alot of places .
3 for 2 offers too.
The best way to gain the most benefit from sublingual B12 is to hold the liquid in your mouth under your tongue for a minimum of forty to sixty seconds in order for the B12 to be absorbed through the membrane under the tongue. My naturopath’s recommendation. It’s worth a try to see if it works better for you.
Hello Oneash, it did not work for me. Glad that it does for you.
I have read a post saying that the citric acid afffects tooth enamel. Don't know if this is true
Best wishes
Thanks for the heads up. I'll time it to clean my teeth not too long after.
I have to use apple cider vinegar which is acidic but advised to wait at least 10 minutes before cleaning them. This is because enamel has been softened by acv and needs time to harden again. I assume same principle with citric acid. Best wishes 🎃
Sadly, didn't do anything for me either.
Worth knowing about, worth trying, but for some, just doesn't do anything at all.
Having had all my 6 loading doses and being told to go back at the end of January for the first of my 3 monthly injections I have decided to begin testing additional supplements. This is the one I am trying first as I can get it delivered with my groceries!
I know this is going to be a long process but I want to be doing something to get my B12 level up as quickly as I can in the hope that I will eventually get some energy back even if not totally back to normal.
Its good to have people to compare notes with, even given that we all have different experiences.
That's the stuff I was using the past 2 years, I was giving myself 4 doses of it a day (16 sprays) as 4 sprays wasn't doing anything, 8 was a slight improvement, 12 was getting better, and 16 was the sweet spot!
I self inject now, but tbh I might go back to the spray when I've used up my supplies.
It's certainly less hassle than injecting. I know what you mean about 4 doses not being enough. I keep having an extra squirt to see me through the day. I'm still in reversing out and can feel different bits of my body going through a rebuild. Which begs the question how much damage can happen to your liver, so it can't store and release B12 properly? Therefore we need to keep topping up daily.
I checked using an old syringe, 16 sprays is just over 1ml of the B12, so 4 sprays definitely wouldn't be enough! 😊
I'm also type 2 diabetic, and your body stores glucose in your liver to release in an emergency if you're having a hypo. Pretty sure my liver's been given a good work out down the years! Need to ask GP about the condition of my liver...
