hi folks, I am awaiting diagnosis of Graveās disease and during the last 3 months since my blood tests via the NHS and the waiting game to see an endocrinologist, I have been researching hyperthyroidism. The internet is FULL of people claiming there is a link between micro biome and leaky gut and Graves

TSH/T3/T4/Vit B & D results
My previous Endo (private) retired last October and the new one (private) that I was suggested to see immediately reduced my Lio from 100 to 75 & the T3 from 20 to 10. Originally I had wanted to see an NHS Endo 3 years ago but none were available, hence the private route. My readings are T4 18.8 -

A phone call yesterday from a consultant Gastroenterologist was very unsuccessful! It lasted less than 5 mins! Hello, I'm new!
Hi everyone, I usually hang out in the Thyroid group because I've got Hashimoto's, but someone suggested I may have pernicious anaemia based on my B12 blood test results, below. My levels have been high for years. They used to be over 1000 but they've come down now. It is normal for levels to go up

Topping OFF
I consider topping off to be a medicial breakthrough in the treatment of Cobalamin Cellular Inactivity. The fact that the medicial community has yet to bless it has no importance to me. The reduction of suffering is what is important to me and is not the prominent focus of the medicial field. When

Hello everyone. I'm waiting for NHS appt with endo which is 20th May. I don't know how much longer I can stay in work feeling like i do atm. I'm exhausted all the time. I cant afford private treatment for B12. I already pay private consultants for menopause care so I just can't add on anymore.

Tirosint
I am unable to take tablet form levothyroxine, I have a gene issue with metabolising some medications. I have started liquid thyroxine but I think the ingredients are affecting my stomach and I have been told to stop taking this to see if it is the cause. I see that Tirosint is quite pure but not sure

Au/ml help
The range for intrinsic factor test result is any result below 1.21u/ml (negative )and above 1.53u/ml (positive). I was informed my result was 1.63. Yes, no measurements of u/ml. When I asked for B12 injections (local GP Wales) as I believed I'd proved I was deficient by these tests coming back high

SIBO and B12 deficiency and OCD?
In 2022 I found out for myself that it had to be a

B12
deficiency
. And indeed it was. Hoping he would get better through injections.First every 72 hours, later every 48 hours. No improvement whatsoever, no matter how small. Nothing! The mental complaints became worse, more frequent.

Could This Be Thyroid?
I know what you're going to say... do these tests and just wait and see... I'm very anxious with symptoms right now and just looking for some thoughts. Although I am currently awaiting investigations into what I'm fearful might be a liver or pancreas problem (you know what I'm saying), I'm hoping some
