PA and oral B12 supplements
I have recently been diagnosed with PA and I’ve had an initial booster course of 6x B12 injections with a plan for 3 monthly injections for life (based, I understand, on local UK NHS protocols, or how my GP has interpreted them). I was therefore wondering if there is any benefit in taking oral B12

Help me find a post please. Male PA member linked a journal article about his success with an innovative depression procedure.
I thought I saved it for a loved one, but can not find it. The member had a procedure done that involved brain stimulation for depression, that still existed even with b12 supplementation. And he had an article written about how successful the procedure was for him I am on Thyroid UK as well so he

Today three years ago I walked into a emergency room. I could only walk 60 yards without resting. I had to stop driving 6 times during a 40 minute drive. Luckily I was admitted and luckily my B12 was finally tested and was <150 which is the lowest level that this particular lab tests for. I started

B12 help
Following on from previous post I have an under active thyroid (Hashimoto’s) and my bloods from October 2021 was MCH 32.8 (27-32) and B12 was 379 (197-771). I read online the MCH this high was macrocytic anaemia but my endo didn’t tell me that. I have been supplementing B complex and sometimes B12

Having trouble ordering b12 as there is apparently a shortage in Australia. Help!!
I am in New Zealand but ordered my B12 from Australia. Without warning, I have just discovered there is a shortage that may go on to as far off as March next year. I am really stressed. Can anyone help with alternatives? I was told Germany did not send to Australia and wondered if NZ was the same. Thanks

Hi, I am new to the PA site. I was diagnosed with under active thyroid in 2021 which I’m still struggling daily with. I have peripheral neuropathy in legs and can’t walk far at all and I’ve just turned 40. My B12 at the time of thyroid diagnosed with not being on any supplements was 379.8 (197-

Low Iron
Hi everyone, Wondered if anyone has had experience with SVT and low iron? I’ve just found out that I have extremely low iron stores which explains a lot of my symptoms, including a fast heart rate and wondering whether anyone knows whether it could cause atrial tachycardia? I am really hoping once

Why am I experiencing migraines, muscle twitching and generally feeling poo 💩?!
Last year year this forum was incredibly helpful when I had a very scary patch of feeling dreadful. I nearly passed out in the middle of the night. Eventually I was diagnosed with vestibular migraine and haven’t felt myself since. I get some migraine symptoms like zig zagging in eye and tiredness but

Overactive thyroid diagnosis following blood test for vit B12 and folate deficiency prompted by tingling symptoms.
Whatever next?! I'm currently at 5 mg prednisolone slow tapering, and this latest diagnosis seems to be another reason for the periods of intense fatigue! and I was blaming the steroids! Is it both? I will talk to a clinician on 6th August (if I'm not lucky enough to get an earlier appointment).
