Hayfever help.
Im curious what meds hayfever sufferers are on, on the more severe side. Im on Fexofenadine 180, Montelukast and avayms. Also spiriva, fostair 200/6, ventolin. My hayfever is awful and a big trigger for my asthma. Ive asked my gp and asthma nurse for help but theyve said im maxed out. Will need to ask

Can too much ventolin make asthma symptoms worse ?
Hi! Since I've been struggling to breath for months due to an asthma flare up triggered by the flu, I've been using a lot of ventolin. I have been using it more and more since I feel like my condition is getting worse and I have more intense symptoms. Lately, I noticed that right after taking ventoline

Asthma and Enstilar Aerosol for Psoriasis! :(
I had a first asthma attack last Saturday (6 days ago), and slowly starting to breathe a little better, but not terrific yet. The shock last Saturday had made the psoriasis I have suddenly flare up, so I used some Enstilar foam on my legs/hips before going to bed. Big mistake: the foam is in an aerosol

Work dilemma...
Hi everyone! This is my first post on this forum, although I've been "lurking" and just reading posts for quite some time. Quick intro and background on me- I'm a 33 year old woman who was diagnosed with adult onset asthma 2 years ago (non- allergic). My main symptoms are coughing, shortness of breath

Asthma attack
At around 3pm our dog chased a bird in the garden, and I jumped up quickly and ran to catch her. Within seconds, I started to get breathing problems, and got into the house as fast as I could - which only made it worse. Went for my Ventolin and it was so bad that I couldn't manage to inhale any. I was

Help, think my 'moderate COPD' diagnosis is wrong!
Sorry for the long post! Not really possible to explain in a few sentences. Anyone ever been misdiagnosed with COPD? I think I may have been and would be very interested to hear anyone else's story if they were either wrongly diagnosed or told the wrong stage. I have had a chest infection since March

Mast Cell Stabilisers
Not being able to tolerate steroids without very debilitating side effects, I'm still looking for something to add to the Uniphyllin 400 & Ventolin (plus just one small dose of Seretide 50). Asthma never bothers me through the night, and I'm fine until I start moving around too much ...more energetic

Asthma or copd
Hi, I'm a 36 year old Male, previous smoker of around 18 years, quit for 3. Currently under investigation by the local hospital for asthma. 18 months ago, I all of a sudden became short of breath, literally within minutes, with no explanation. This lasted for around a week. Then I was fine, running

Inhalers which one first
Hi all. Like many people I have more than one inhaler to take. But my question is does it make a difference which one is taken first. I have read people saying that take one to open up the airways and then take the other. I have seen people say that they take one puff of ventolin every morning and that

ALLERGIC REACTION
Good Morning, first time on this forum. I was diagnosed with allergic asthma this time last year. After a number of trials with different inhalers, in last couple of months I have been using the preventer inhaler Fostair which I find is just right for me, but on mentioning night cramps to the nurse

Asthma copd overlap.
Hi all. Really this is more about my asthma I think. But we will see. I am 55yr s old male. About 6 years ago after a major cold I started to need a puff of ventolin here and there , given by the GP but no steroid. This was ok for a while but I gradually needed more and more. After a while I went back

I was diagnosed with mild Copd about 6 years ago and think I have tried every inhaler available. I am not sure how they are supposed to make me feel. I don't have flare-ups but I always get breathless walking down the road or any doing light housework etc. Do any of the inhalers stop the breathlessness

Week 1 run 1
Well 5months (!) after downloading the app I just managed to complete the first run. I never knew 60 seconds was so long! I wanted to give up just over half way through as my legs felt like lead and I realised I would probably benefit from a puff of ventolin. Maybe I ran too fast at the start, will try

Wet weather!
I am newly diagnosed but I just wondered if anyone else is reacting to this terrible UK weather?? I’ve been on Clenil modulite preventer twice a day for 2 weeks now & it seemed to have worked wonderfully at first, I went over a week without needing to use my Ventolin. The last few days have brought torrential
