Been dealing with an issue for 14 months and can’t get diagnosed!! Opinions and thoughts needed!
Hi all, thought I’d reach out and share what I assume is a gastro-related issue that I’ve been dealing with for a while (approx 2 years), in hope to get some ideas and direction on how to get this diagnosed and treated within the NHS - because so far, with all the visits to the GP, trips to the hospital

I was so worked up I had to get
valium
from the emergency doctors. On the Monday my head and face and eyes hurt so I went to A and E who said my eye sight was fine and sent me back to the eye consultant the next day.

Remedies for Parkinson's constipation
This subject comes up a lot, so I figured it would be useful to post our collective wisdom in one place as a reference. As usual – what works for one may not work for another. So members of our club are invited to also post your remedies in the comments.

Advice about Alendronic Acid
I am 54 and had an early menopause, so after a rib fragility fracture was sent for a Dexa scan. My result is osteoporosis in the spine (t score - 2.6), osteopenia femoral neck (t score - 1.8) and left hip (t score - 1.0). My risk of major fracture within 10 years is 9.6%. I have been prescribed Alendronic

Help with ranges
Hi guys, I have posted a few times and am by no means a novice when it comes to all things thyroid and bloods and vits etc but my question is does anyone have any official guidlines regarding reaching a euthroid state on replacement. In other words is there medical guidance that states top 3rd of range

Looking for relief from itching that is keeping me up at night.
Hi, I have Stage 5 ESRD (GFR 12-15), and I have been on the transplant list for almost three years. I generally feel good and am able to tolerate 45 minutes of aerobic activity (swimming) 3-4 days per week. Recently (within the last few weeks), I started having itching at night that started to keep

What's next on tap
Well the 12th cycle of carboplatin and cabataxal is on May 20th, this treatment regime has been successful bringing my Psa down from 243 to 6. Although I have been told 12 cycles are on the far end of what should be taken, so far I have been tolerating it pretty well, aside from burning pain with urination

Hi all, I have another thyroid test next Tuesday. I take folic acid daily as well as zinc, selenium and vitamin D. Should I stop taking folic acid now until next week? Is it the same as B12? Also is it ok to eat dairy/drink a flat white coffee 2 hours after Levo ingestion?? I’ve been doing this but when

Also
valium
as needed, but lately things have really gotten out of hand. I am jittery inside, have occasional myoclonic jerks, and I am convinced I have some awful neurological disorder. Have seen my doctor and going again tomorrow. Any suggestions? Thanks

Taking AlgaeCal plus and Strontium boost
I Just started taking this product for my bones. I have many fractures and am scared of all the drugs available to build bone. This product claims to build bone in 6-12 months without all the awful, dreadful side effects. I was wondering if anyone else is taking it? I have read a lot about calcium tablets

Going forwards...I hope
Had an optimistic phone appointment with my GP yesterday. I explained to him about this forum and how supportive and informative it is. He was very interested. I spoke to him about the idea of splitting the dose and dead slow tapering , he was surprised and said' Not a lot is generally known about PMR
