Calcium and vitamin d intake to avoid osteoporosis while on pred?
I am curious to know how much calcium and vitamin d people are taking in order to stave off possible osteoporosis while taking prednisone. Currently, I'm taking about 1,000 mg per day of calcium, total, from food and supplement, and about 1400 IU (35 mcg) of vitamin d, mainly from supplements. Just curious

MK-7, (Menaquinone-7 is touted as the most bio-available form of Vitamin K2). I started taking due to concern that all those years of taking Calcium supplements may have contributed to my developing PD. Advised to take vitamin D but also on Warfarin
I have a history of going very low on vitamin D so was advised to take supplements. Problem is that I'm reading that those taking vitamin D should also take Vitamin K2 to ensure calcium deposits into the bones and not the arteries. For those of us on Warfarin what are we advised to do? Are we predisposing

All I want for Christmas is good news! (and less stress)
Merry merry and a HoHoHope you all are cruising through this holiday season with no worries and only good things coming your way!🌟✨🤞🏼🙏🏼🎁🍫☕️🕊 I’m struggling a bit with the cold weather setting off more than my usual share of muscle spasms and cramps. Every day feels like I ran a marathon yesterday

New Medicines Atorvastatin and Propranaolol Bone Worries
I have had a barrage of blood tests done recently due to Osteoporosis, no blood test was left out, except for Magnesium that I am being tested for in the next lot of blood tests in January. My blood tests show high cholesterol so the doctor prescribed Atorvastatin 20mg. He also prescribed Propranaolol

K2 and suspected blood clot
Hello I have been taking k2mk7 in conjunction with calcium magnesium citrate and D3. I started getting a dull nagging pain in my calf and had blood test showing elevated d dimer indicative of blood clot. I have a scan tomorrow. I see that K2 can bee used to promote blood clotting and worry that perhaps

Acerola powder and it’s composition. Is calcium a problem
My new brand of acerola powder contains calcium, which my old brand probably did too, given that it’s a natural product but I was wondering, is 8.5mgs daily all that much and irrespective of whether or not it is, should it be avoided? Please check my calculations. Values on back of packet in photo

Calcium products and calcification of coronary artery,
Hi, I had a stent in left coronary artery due to calcium deposits and narrowing on angiogram 3 years ago, all other arteries were fine.
