Diazepam/Valium
I managed to come off them 2 years ago when I replaced
Valium
with Codeine. One thing that amazes me is the fact that there is no similar medicine. Nothing has changed since the mid 70s.
Valium
is still the best option for me & nothing on the market comes close.

HI, I've lowered my Dexa results in a year (but still higher than 5 years ago) All areas are in osteopenia now with spine being the worst at -2.1. I didn't realize you shouldn't change machines so last year it was -2.9 but I think that was part error. My doc is checking with place because differences

Prolia 1yr Update
I wanted to share my Prolia results. One year ago my DEXA scan showed Osteopenia in the left femoral neck (T -1.1) and I started Prolia. I chose not to take Vitamin D or calcium as they were within normal range. My DEXA scan a year later showed a 3.5 % increase in bone density in my hip with a T of -

Recent results following increase in Levothyroxine dose.Anything of note?
HiFollowing advice on the forum I asked GP for screening for Vit D etc at my recent review of increased dose. I have generalised osteoarthritis and a family rich in autoimmune diseases. Please see my results. The only comment made by GP is that Vit D a bit low and to take over the counter supplement.

Is this PMR?
Hello I'm new to this site and to the world of PMR. Hoping to get some guidance from this lovely community. My GP has diagnosed me with PMR at 42 and I'm not entirely convinced as I don't fit the symptoms of aches and stiffness in the shoulders and hips. This all started in March 23 where I woke

PTH and aggressive PCa? I need guidance
Hello, everyone! I can really use some guidance. My husband’s PTH (Parathyroid hormone) has been elevated since his Dx (pre & post treatments) Being that his blood calcium is at normal levels, his MO ruled out Secondary Hyperparathyroidism, and moved on. But that never sat right with me. Why the elevated

Alendronic Acid
It has been recommended that I take Alendronic Acid to protect my bones whilst taking Prednisone as I now have Osteoporosis. To be honest given the potential horrendous side effects of Alendronic Acid which on top of those of taking Prednisone and of course the impact of having GCA I am reluctant to

Heart rhythm workup. Increase prednisone?
I have been tapering down to 7 1/2 from 7 3/4. Last week I had an episode a very fast pulse and extremely high blood pressure and went to the hospital. Of course the vital signs were perfect in the hospital the next day, my doctor had a special monitor applied. Called ZiO. The purpose is to catch any
