Slippery Elm & Lansoprazol
I'm asking advice for my son. It's about timings etc re slippery elm, supplements and slippery elm. He's 40 and on Lazoprasole for almost 12 years for slight hiatus hernia. Each time he's not taken it, due to prescription mix up, he gets bad acid symptoms. At the moment he's having an acid flare up.

Bone health
I think I’ve asked this but I’m not sure I understood. Please be patient with me. If calcium and therefore also calcium rich foods - dairy obvs but also green leafy veg, soya etc, suppress levothyroxine, what do we do for bone healthy foods?

Switch from Bisaprolol to Calcium Blockers
Hi all, new to the site. My cardiologist has just switched me off Bisaprolol 5 mg as they had stopped working properly to Tildiem and Ranolazine. He said it was OK to stop the Bisoprolol cold turkey as I had only been on it a few months, but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced their heart

Rejoining the world - An update on my cancer experience as a patient with cirrhosis
People have been asking how I was doing so I thought it was time to provide an update. A quick review. I was having very painful time with back muscle cramps and had a fall which resulted in 3 compression fractures. While dealing with that I saw my PCP who identified that I was having a critical calcium

things blocking calcium
I was talking to a nurse at the royal osteoporosis society and I asked about phytates and oxalates blocking calcium absorption, and she said that they don't block all the calcium, anyone say different.

Hi Guys, Is anyone on Mimpara for high calcium in blood. I’m transplanted and had a parathyroidectomy but still high calcium . The mimpara makes me very nauseous but it’s the only thing they’ve offered me. Has anyone had extremely itchy skin with high calcium. Any input welcome Tina

absorbing calcium and nutrients
it's hard work trying to absorb calcium and nutrients because there is that many foods that block each other from being absorbed like phytates and oxalates and other things when eaten together, there is even phytates in alpro milk that I take for calcium, I think I need a calcium supplement.
