How long for test results from stomach emptying study?
I had a stomach emptying test at the start of last week , but I don't have a follow up date - and unlike ultrasounds or even the barium swallow - when I was told afterwards everything was OK - I have no idea what the outcome of this is! Any ideas? I did find that eating a dry meal was not good - wasn't

Sorry Lung Buddies but not the happiest of posts. So Tuesday felt the familiar pain in chest and lo and behold yesterday the mucus is green. Cue phone call appointment with GP. Well is it part of the lovely Covid i got in hospital? or has the Haemophilis I woken up? or is it just Bronch exacerbation

Has anyone experienced ear pain from Botox?
The gp gave me
Valium
to relax the area, but I don’t want to take too much of that.

Wedding Cake, PSA rising and Scans showing a bunch more spots on bones all over.
My latest (monthly) PSA went from 10.4 to 20.9~~and my every 3 months Axumin Pet Scan shows: (last only showed 2 lymph nodes in the pelvic area.) Musculoskeletal: There are multiple radiotracer avid osseous lesions, some of the lesions are sclerotic while others do not have underlying definite CT correlate

Amantadine for fatigue/spasms
Was one of the first drugs I took for AMN once I'd found a decent neurologist who was open to prescribing anything that wasn't Baclofen or
Valium
. Amantadine is an antiviral, was effective against Influenza A. Not any more.

Advice wanted on supplements to take to try and manage osteoporosis the natural way
I have osteoporosis and don't want to take medication and want to go the natural route to stop bone loss/ possibly increase it slightly. I am trying to sort out what supplements to take, and am getting confused. A definite bit of advice coming through it to take organic calcium, eg Algecal. This

can i take glucosamine chondroitin with turmeric plus msm with the prednisone and the usual calcium ,vitamin d etc.
Im doing well on my tapering. Just starting down to 6mg prednisone for my PMR. My daughter likes to do natural suppliments and just gave me a large jar of this stuff. I also take fish oil regularly and she gave me jar of Krill oil to use instead. Thoughts on this ?

Almost 4 months since GCA diagnosis and can't get my shoes on for swollen ankles.
Hello again folks. Just a bit concerned over the holiday period, as my ankles and blood pressure (156/88 this morning) have gradually got worse and I'm worried about kidney disease. Can't get my shoes on any more. Especially the right one! I've been on insulin for 40years, so was put on Lisinopril

Ectopics improved greatly for about a month and then I developed a mild dull ache in the side of my head

Alendronic Acid - is it worth it?
Rheumatologist had just prescribed AA as the pred will be 'killing my bones'. She wants me to take it for 6 months then have a DEXA scan to see if I need to continue. Seems a bit of a barmy way round to me, but hey ho. So I have been reading back through all the posts I can find and am now absolutely

Is the RDA of Calcium based on what needs to be absorbed or the calcium food content to be consumed?
Is the recommended daily amount of Calcium based on what needs to be absorbed by the body, or amount of calcium content in the food to be consumed? That might sound like the same thing.. however I've read that calcium is never 100% absorbed or at least not from food. For instance absorption from cheese
