Magnesium Taurate side effect

Hi all, new to the site and to ectopics. Not on any prescribed medication as yet but can take mg taurate. Started on CVR mg taurate 250mg/day (as per Dr Sanjay Gupta) along with calcium, D and K. Ectopics improved greatly for about a month and then I developed a mild dull ache in the side of my head. Stopped the mg and pain gone. I am now on just 125mg/day and palps not too bad but was better with the 250mg/day. Was wondering if anyone out there has experienced similar side effect and what can be done to overcome it?

I have been taking a Mg compound with Taurine for 6 yrs and recently reduced it to half the dose and coincidentally or not feel better for it - unfortunately it is all about trial and error the good news is persistence and patience pays off....so far!
