I had my first round of Botox three weeks ago and started experiencing pain in my ear on and off this week and now it’s constant. I saw my neurologist yesterday and she never heard of this as a side effect. I went to my gp this morning to rule out an infection and my ear is normal. The tmj was injected also so I was thinking that this caused the ear pain. The gp gave me Valium to relax the area, but I don’t want to take too much of that.

Hello Angels. Sorry to hear that you're not doing too well after Botox. When I got it, I experienced quite a lot of side effects and as you can expect, my head doctor said that it couldn't be Botox. He even went so far as to to say that I must have got a virus (what, for 7 weeks????). If the pain in the ear is due to Botox, it will settle down at some stage, I would think. But when it comes to taking Valium, well, it is a bit of an overkill, in my opinion.
I think you need to hang in there and it is probably best if you keep a diary of your symptoms, making sure it is not getting worse. Botox starts wearing off after 12 weeks.
All the best!
