RA and entertaining the family.
I was originally diagnosed with PMR and a couple of years later with RA. I therefore take immuno-suppressant medication. My stepdaughter and her family want to visit us next week. There are four of them and I'm not sure if the two children (15 and 17) have been vaccinated. If the weather is fine, we're

FET & COVID Vaccine
Hi, I have a FET coming up and I have just been called to have my first COVID-19
vaccination
. I feel fine about having it done prior to treatment but if successful my second dose would be due in early pregnancy and I don't feel so sure about that.

Covid vaccination & immunes treatment
I'll be staring a FET with immunes (intralipids, steroids etc). Im concerned about taking the vaccine but also feeling quite anxious about not taking it. My clinic is trying to suppress my immune system but the vaccine is going to strengthen is so how does this work. What is your advice please?

Developing immunity after COVID vaccine if you are immune suppressed or taking immune suppressants - as I am.
They have just sent me details of several studies published in the US Journal of the American Medical Association demonstrating that about 40% of those with deficient or suppressed immune systems don’t develop antibodies after
vaccination
.

A doubt about the COVID vaccine during pregnancy
There is a huge debate about the effects of the Covid vaccine on teenagers. I am pregnant and I would like to take the Covid vaccine... however why all this worry about vaccinating teenagers when pregnant women are advised to vaccinate and pass the antibodies to the unborn. Isn't this an inconsistency

What should I take after my covid 19 jab?
I realise that I have a narrative wrapped around my fears of having my first covid 19
vaccination
next week. My current narrative goes like this. I imagine the jab in my left arm, the arrival of a syringe-full of non-self vaccine.

Hi, Things change fast. 1.More data coming that suggests T cells probably will not be rescuing us post vaccine if not antibody (humeral response). No surprise there. Update: New Total Ab #
I received the J&J
vaccination
5/5/21. My new Total Ab # is >2500. My CLL condition is currently symptom free after BR 10/16 to 2/17. No Cat-T therapies. I don't know what all this means, but I wanted to keep the community informed as well as CLL professionals, God bless all CLLers.

Non-standard Ibrance schedule
Hi everyone, Great forum and so happy I found it! I was diagnosed with MBC in my liver last summer, 19+ years after initial diagnosis Stage IIB, bilateral mastectomy, chemo, and radiation. WTF??? I had surgery to remove tumor and have no other mets that they can find . Anyway, started Ibrance in October

Israel says Pfizer Covid vaccine is just 39% effective as delta spreads, but still prevents severe illness
Delta is spreading rapidly here despite the fact that we are mostly vaccinated. Keep in mind that the bulk of the population here was already fully vaccinated by February and that the vaccine efficiency may wear off over time. On the bright side, we are seeing significantly less hospitalizations. Still
