Feeling guilty and useless
I see my parents go to work everyday and I know a few of my peers have jobs and then I look at myself. It's the first summer in a long time that I've been free of studying and exams, I know I needed some rest but I'm getting kind of overwhelmed. I feel guilty that I don't have a job and a source of income

RA and entertaining the family.
I was originally diagnosed with PMR and a couple of years later with RA. I therefore take immuno-suppressant medication. My stepdaughter and her family want to visit us next week. There are four of them and I'm not sure if the two children (15 and 17) have been vaccinated. If the weather is fine, we're

Covid Vaccination advice please!
I had my Covid Vaccine (Astra Z) back in early March and a few days after I had fatigued a lot earlier than normal when running. A week or so later I was getting Chest cramps and really struggled. This did ease after a few weeks. I had my second Jab last week. Just went for my first run since and after

Trigger finger & costochondritis from Acalabrutinib?
Recently developed symptoms similar to costochondritis (painful sternum and tight chest muscles) after
vaccination
and lasted over 2 months. Called Pharmacist in Biologics and he hadn’t come across such incidents. Wonder if anyone here also experienced such side effects from acalabrutinib? Seok

Good rheumatologists do exist
It didn't help much, so I reported everything to my rheumatologist yesterday, who concluded that it had not been the best idea of her to continue tapering off just at the time of
vaccination
. She put me on 6mg/d for 23 days and then on 3 mg/d until my next appointment on 10 August.

Increased symptoms after Vaccination
I wonder if anyone has had this. After my first AZ jab (March), I was very 'off' for about a week. I also had a return of PMR symptoms for a lot longer - eg wrists, ankles, general discomfort, wobbliness and brain fog. To see if it was a flare, I went up to 30mgs for 5 days, then back down in stages

This is huge!
So this is for people who have been infected and recovered as well as those post
vaccination
by at least two weeks. It is a tool that will help us to understand the duration of immunity post infection/

COVID TEST - NO ANTIBODIES AT ALL?
This could suggest the following: You have not recently been infected with COVID-19 Your antibody levels may have declined over time and are no longer measurable after prior COVID-19 infection or
vaccination
You have not yet developed antibodies after recent COVID-19 infection or

FET & COVID Vaccine
Hi, I have a FET coming up and I have just been called to have my first COVID-19
vaccination
. I feel fine about having it done prior to treatment but if successful my second dose would be due in early pregnancy and I don't feel so sure about that.

A doubt about the COVID vaccine during pregnancy
There is a huge debate about the effects of the Covid vaccine on teenagers. I am pregnant and I would like to take the Covid vaccine... however why all this worry about vaccinating teenagers when pregnant women are advised to vaccinate and pass the antibodies to the unborn. Isn't this an inconsistency

Covid vaccination & immunes treatment
I'll be staring a FET with immunes (intralipids, steroids etc). Im concerned about taking the vaccine but also feeling quite anxious about not taking it. My clinic is trying to suppress my immune system but the vaccine is going to strengthen is so how does this work. What is your advice please?

Developing immunity after COVID vaccine if you are immune suppressed or taking immune suppressants - as I am.
They have just sent me details of several studies published in the US Journal of the American Medical Association demonstrating that about 40% of those with deficient or suppressed immune systems don’t develop antibodies after
vaccination

Vaccines, 3rd dose, LLS results and more
Hi, Things change fast. 1.More data coming that suggests T cells probably will not be rescuing us post vaccine if not antibody (humeral response). No surprise there. CLL patients usually have lousy T cells—sorry. 2.Discouraging data from a small trial where no-one with CLL who did NOT respond to the

What should I take after my covid 19 jab?
I realise that I have a narrative wrapped around my fears of having my first covid 19
vaccination
next week. My current narrative goes like this. I imagine the jab in my left arm, the arrival of a syringe-full of non-self vaccine.
