Diagnosed with Encephalitis
A few days later I started having headaches which was put down to the 2nd covid
vaccination
I'd just had. My symptoms worsened when I was resting in bed one day and suddenly I had this overwhelming feeling that something terrible was about to happen to me!

So fearful of Covid and people who di not mask and social distance
I have been vaccinated at the first date that was available to me, but have been so very terrified during this pandemic. I rarely go out and if must to doctor or other absolute necessity, always mask and social distance . I get angry at anyone who does not and I have panic and anxiety til I am back in

PMR , immunocompromised, and boosters
I found this article about our (PMR patients) antibody reaction to the Covid vaccinations, and our qualifying for the booster as we may be considered immunocompromised. My understanding is that we are considered to have "iRMD", as referenced in the article. Google: Medscape: Rheumatologists Report

Immune Compromised Patients May Get 3rd Vaccination
I mentioned this story in a reply I just made to a different Post, and decided it was too important a story to leave only in that reply. So I'm now posting about it. In essence my blood test at Quest Labs to see if my two vaccine shots resulted in any antibodies came back "NONE" I've been a little

Shingles vaccine
I had my first Shingrix
vaccination
yesterday. I was actually very worried about side effects. Well. A few hours after getting it I felt really fatigued. You all know what that's like.

TIA
Has anyone on here had a similar experience related to the
vaccination
or know where I can go to get help and advice regarding this and whether I can have an alternative vaccine (I’ve only had first one)? I have tried addressing with clinicians but nobody wants to acknowledge it.

Booster versus Third Primary Dose.
Hi everyone, I'm a little confused about this. Are these one and the same? The JCVI report that was kindly posed here was talking about the need for us immunocompromised to have a Third Primary Dose but the medics and government are only talking about a booster jab. I'm assuming they are the same but

..however, after a second dose there is only a small and non-significant reduction in vaccine effectiveness
In most clinical risk groups, immune response to
vaccination
is maintained and high levels of VE are seen with both the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines.

vaccination
I shouldn't worry too much. I know that being on chemo means that the vaccine is only about forty percent effective, due to our reduced immunity. Does the same hold true for those on parps, does anybody know? Do parp s affect immunity to the same extent as chemo? Jenny

LIFE GOES ON IN HAPPY SECLUSION
Hi, Is anyone else looking at their future way of life with uncertainty. In the UK so many people are living full lives as if the pandemic is over. Low neutralizing antibody responses in WM, CLL and NHL patients after the first dose of the BNT162b2 and AZD1222 vaccine
Even though the response rates were not optimal,
vaccination
is still considered essential and if possible should be performed before treatment initiation.

Vaccine anxiety
I'm set to loose my job in a matter of weeks because I haven't taken the vaccine, I'm not an antivaxer and have had vaccines for various things during my 57yrs, but I'm just not comfortable with these covid vaccines, I'm absolutely petrified, all I get from people is "oh just go have it" if only it was

Three months after second vaccination - Antibody level increased
Research requires multiple tests (one month, 3 months and 5 months after second
vaccination
). One month after my
vaccination
(Moderna) the Antibody level was Positive, but very low (1.45 U/mL). Current test (3 months) shows much higher level (65.7 U/mL).

Public health expert: We must learn to live with Covid
We thought we had herd immunity thanks to the world’s most successful
vaccination
campaign. On April 18, Israel canceled facemasks outdoors and reopened schools fully. On June 1, we lifted most pandemic restrictions and on June 15, stopped requiring masks indoors.
