Abdominal ache
Hi Just wondering if lower abdominal pain is a symptom of OC or chemotherapy. Mum didn't have treatment this week as they thought she had a water infection. Her urine sample is all clear but the dull ache is still there especially when sitting down. It gets worse as the day goes on. Has anyone had anything

A little update.
I spoke to my GP last Monday. He said he was glad I was doing ok on the 75mg of levo, I am 3 weeks in now. I told him I want to give it 6-7 weeks and then I will re test my bloods. The call I had from him 3 weeks ago upset me as he said if my fatigue didn't lift he wanted to see me after 2 weeks on

Adrenal test: Genova or Blue Horizon?
Apologies, I have edited the post to include my diagnosis and treatment. I'm ordering tests to guide me (not an NHS gp). BH adrenal saliva is discounted w any purchase over £50 and I'm already ordering a full thyroid panel w rt3. It looks like the BH test is cortisol only whereas the Genova saliva test

Painful periods and choosing a doctor?
I am new to this community, and I'm also living in the United States, but I just thought that this website seemed like it had a great online community with an easy forum. I am a 22-year-old female, and I've been struggling with painful periods for as long as I can remember. I got my period late(around

Big Day for me. Big Rant too.
At last, I start my Bilogics today, got the nurse coming to show me how to inject my new medication, I've been put on Benepali, never heard of it, but hopefully it will work alongside the Methoraxate and Hydrochloride, (excuse my spelling please) Went to see the Rheumatologist last month, but it was

On the 14/12/16 I had a laparoscopy where I was diagnosed and treated from endometriosis, also had a coil put in while I was asleep. The recovery was amazing. After a few days I was back to myself and pain free, just bruising and swelling from surgery. This last week Iv got my old pain back, not as bad

Freaking out..please help me calm myself down
Hi all, hope everyone is doing as well as can be hoped. I recently had my annual checkup and a few things showed up that were not normal. They detected trace of blood in my urine, high TSH, elevated levels of alkaline phosphatase and "unsatisfactory" pap results. Now being the lunatic I am, I am completely

Pudendal Nerve, or bladder spasms? Or both?!
Last June I started to feel like I was getting a UTI. Mild dull pelvic ache around the mons pubis area, and the feeling of needing to urinate when I didn't - again very mild. Was put on around 6 different types of antibiotics, even though urine samples sent to lab came back negative for infection

I am a 38 year old male and I have been a long sufferer from what I thought was hypohidrosis ( excessive sweating)but also have painfully cold feet and hands so now after searching the web I think I may have hypothyroidism? It's like my body cannot regulate it's temperature properly, it's either too hot

Since November I have had bronchitis, then urinary tract infection, I was waiting to ring GP tomorrow for result of last urine sample sent away so, I may restart Benepali & methotrexate. But since Saturday I have gastroenteritis! I'm also, which is no surprise, getting the old familiar aches & pains
