Caregiver- how do I manage my mom’s pain when she doesn’t really communicate it?
My mom had a stage 4 GBM tumor removed in May from her left frontal lobe (the area where communication and balance is) she has a second tumor on her right frontal lobe still. We are currently at my home through hospice. Issue: She doesn’t always or doesn’t (it’s hard to tell) accurately communicate

Newbie with PV and questions!
Hi everyone, new to the forum. I'm 50 and was told I have Polycythaemia Vera last week. Probably like many of you on here, I ended up getting diagnosed with PV as a coincidence. I complained at my GP about persistent and worsening hip pain when walking. Eventually got sent for xray to check for arthritis

Do you have any funny stories? I just want to talk about such stories, helps me feel less alone and anxious. So i will go first. I think my favourite story is Aspirin the cat. I think i have a post about it, but just in case - mom works at a pharmacy and got too much aspirin and put some of it

Her consultant at the minute isn’t very helpful and hasn’t provided a lot of into which has left us both very upset and scrambling to find out everything we can. Our first question is does PV drastically

Article: ADT May Increase Risk of Death From Cardiovascular Disease in Prostate Cancer
Conclusion: ADT recipients had a significantly increased risk of death from stroke and ischemic heart disease. My thought: Maybe low dose aspirin isn't a bad idea when on ADT. https://www.cancertherapyadvisor.com/home/cancer-topics/prostate-cancer/prostate-cancer-androgen-deprivation-therapy-cardiovascular-disease-death-risk
